Amazing service, hospitality, location and the value for your money is excellent. I was travelling solo and was greeted with a choice of tea or coffee on my arrival. The woman who runs it seems really proud of her hotel, as she should be. Fans in the room, clean private bathroom, mosquito net, outside terrace area and a roof where you can see an amazing sunset.

Even though there was a double booking, the host informed me in advance that he organized an alternative (upgrade) for us. The new room was very spacious and the hosts were very kind. Highly recommend!

The warmth and kindness of the whole family, they truly treat you like one of their own! On first sight Mallika Resort looks a bit like a building site but the rooms are very clean and functional, great fan & aircon, very good bathroom and great value. Now we get to the great part, cooking with Mallika herself!! There is a family kitchen where she cooks up a treat and their generosity knows no bounds. I loved cooking up a few meals with the lovely Mallika (even though I use too much coconut milk!!) I love you all and see you again one day... Thanks for a brilliant few days.

Very big and clean room, AC and hot shower. Mallika was very nice, they did laundry for me in hours and helped with other requests. Quiet at night, but short walk to the beach.

The value is unbeatable. Room was clean, bed large and comfortable with moscito net. The hosts are incredibly nice and welcoming, they noticeably put a lot of effort into providing a great experience. I would easily return here and can definitely recommend this place.

Had the bedroom on the ground floor which can be a bit noisy.

Great host, very welcoming had some Arrack and fish with them they also dropped me to the bus stand and made sure I was in the right bus. The bother next door does sell water botter and also do Landry service for reasonable price

Amazing hospitality of the owner family! They welcomed us like family. they are really really kind. He showed us where to eat, dropped us off at the bus station and told us which bus we should catch. Seeing monkeys together was also a great memory. We would love to come back to see them someday. The room on the first floor is very clean and spacious enough. Bathrooms are also clean. Thank you very much !

Malika resort is well located central to many restaurants and shops and less than 10 minutes walk to Mirissa beach. The owners are really kind and helpful. The room we were in had a big bed with lots of room around it and it was clean. We enjoyed it so much that we extended our stay.

Lovely and heart-warming hosting family always there to help with any questions, perfect location (ocean, restaurants, shops are near, but you don't hear main road noises), all facilities in cozy room to have a great stay. Bathroom is equipped with water heater. There is also an option to rent a bike or tuktuk, to order a breakfast, to take laundry if needed. Thanks to Mallika and Nissanka for such a memorable fantastic trip to Sri-Lanka, their hospitality is a genuine gift.

Fantastic hotel! We really enjoyed our stay at Mallika resort. The family were very helpful and kind. They always offered us tea in the mornings and help with everything. The room was very big and clean with everything you need. Two fans, comfortable beds, fast WiFi ect. Great central location 5 minutes from beach. Many restaurants close by. Would look no further for accommodation in Mirissa. Will definitely come back 5*

The other rooms being rented out were partying outside my room from midnight until 4am, the music and chatting was super loud, the smoke from their cigarettes blew through the vent in my room.

The room was very standard and you get what you pay for. There was no AC in the room which made it a bit hot and humid.

The host were very kind and took care of us very well. The room was also in a great location.
