The manager Prasanna and other staff try very hard to satisfy the guests. Breakfast was more than adequate, with fruit, juice,toast, jam, fried egg, a pot of coffee or tea. Initial issues with the internet were dealt with and a better service arranged. The location is great, just a short and pleasant walk around the lake to the centre.

Bed sheets stained and actually not the best breakfast compared with elsewhere but I get that the economy is not that great.

The hosts were mostly kind but didn't explain that taxes were not included in the booking.com price and charged us 1000 rupee more than the original room price to stay an extra night. We also didn't realise that the accom was next to a school so you're not able to sleep past 7.30am due to music/band playing.

The house was nice and we were upgraded to a bigger room for no extra cost. Our room was big and the facilities were clean and nice. Close to the lake and not long walk to main city. Breakfast was simple but alright.

The location was great. It was very central, short walk to lake and city centre but in a very quiet area. Staff very friendly and helpful. Great tuk tuk driver Mr Lasantha highly recommend honest and genuine.

Nothing that the owners can do about. But there was an overbooking and we had to switch to the neighbors house, which was completely fine though! It could use a little bit more cleaning

We Had booked three nights in the villa, however the second morning we were informed that a Sri lankan Family had booked the entire Villa and we had to Check Out. The Host was not very friendly about it. He told us he had blocked the villa in booking.com two days ago but we had booked two weeks before. So we had to find new accomodation that morning. The Host has a private Tour Guide that tries to sell his Tours a lot.

We liked the rooms and that the villa was clean. The Sri Lankan breakfast was tasty.

This is not related as such to the hotel - but the location is not far from the city nor the sights, but the traffic in Kandy is quite heavy, so a walk there wasn't the nicest. But with tuk tuk, it's very convenient and just takes a couple of minutes from anywhere. And the bonus is the quietness of the place!

Very nice people at the location and the room was basic but very functional. Overall the building is very pretty and charming. We got an amazing breakfast (local curries and string hoppers) with a great juice (don't know what the fruit was, but it was delicious!). The bonus from being out of the city center was that it was very quiet. Perfect for a good sleep. There were cute monkeys jumping around which gave it an extra charm but also meant we needed to keep the windows closed. 🙂 We forgot to return the keys and mailed them back afterwards and through the hassle we caused with our mistake we had great communication.

There just wasn't anywhere to put your stuff...there never seems to be shelves or a wardrobe anywhere in sri lanka though. The wifi is great when you are the only one using it but when more people are connected, it just can't keep up. But there is data service there.

the property is beautiful, breakfast was good, staff was friendly, and rooms were lovely. We even got greeted at breakfast by monkeys running through the house. The staff are aimed and ready to use their slingshots to shoo them away. The rooms were a good size. The location is excellent for walking to town, walking to the pizza place, and stays very quiet at night.

The bathroom and whole chamber didn’t feel that clean (hairs from previous guests), nonetheless, price is very cheap so probably this was somewhat to be expected.

Very close to Kandy lake and everything you want to see in Kandy. Breakfast is good and there’s a house tuk tuk you can make use of against additional costs. There’s a shared balcony you can enjoy and watch the monkeys jumping around.

The owner was friendly but not present during the night. The one employee working invited 15 friends who were really loud, drinking and singing. We had to ask them 3 times to keep it down because we couldn’t sleep.

A lovely new property just a short stroll to the lake and major attractions. Lovely big bedroom with large en-suite. Breakfast was huge and delicious. Owner is so helpful and friendly. Picked us up from bus station when we arrived which was really great. Would highly recommend.

- The worst thing first: the room has no aircondition and we had up to 38°C in Kandy which made it impossible to sleep through the night - The staff didn't care about us at all. One night two members of the staff were sitting downstairs in the livingroom and they were smoking inside the house plus they had the TV on very loudly so we couldn't fall asleep at 11pm which was very rude/unconsiderate - the bed was rather uncomfortable - it wasn't very clean, we found an empty bottle beneath the bed from a previous guest - Staff didn't speak Englisch so communucation was difficult

The house itself is pretty and it is a good location close to the lake and the city center
