Staff were a little cold on arrival. Also the light switch in our bathroom stopped working.

Amazing rooftop pool and restaurant. The food was superb and authentic. The hotel is very clean and they take this very seriously. Facilities were good and the general feel of the hotel is high end.

The tables in the restaurant were dirty. I couldn't see one clean table. The dirt was under the glass. The top of the glass covers haven't been cleaned properly in ages. The cutlery at my table was also dirty. The offered gloves for the guests for the self-serve buffet weren't used by the guests, except me. The waiters didn't tell the guests the proper procedure. The "infinity-Pool " was a joke. Only to be used from sunrise to sunset. What you then could see from the pool was a massive building site.

The bed was comfortable. The room as expected.

Worked perfectly as a first stop in Sri Lanka to recover from a long flight. Clean and spacious room, nice rooftop pool and surprisingly good food in the restaurant.

The elongated check in having as well as having to prove ( and copies taken of covid certification.) I not been asked for it anywhere else in a month of travel.

Good position but the original room I was shown was on the small side from the one I stayed in before. The very helpful receptionist Dilki finally found me another room. Be aware the bigger rooms are premier.

The cafe did not have coffee and overall looked a bit dull. But considering the situation there currently , I think it's acceptable. Pillows not comfortable & toiletries quality can be improved.

The choice of food and better cooked. The service for breakfast was ok The service for evening dinner was very, very poor. An a la carte menu long waits for the food. One evening I had room service and soup and a cake took over one hour to be delivered

Our room was dirty with used cotton buds poking out under the bed. Our room was clearly filled with people in quarantine, there were plates of food filled with cigarette ends left outside the rooms for an entire day so our room and the entire floor smelt horrific. The “balcony” was filthy. Expected more for the money.

I think for the price you pay they should include breakfast for Genius members, and also there was not enough tanning beds on the pool which looks smaller than in the pictures.

The service at the front desk was impeccable and the welcome drink was a nice treat! The room was really clean and the food at the pool quite nice!

Little noisy, constructions are all around + busy street underneath.

Good location, one street from the beach (but not suitable for swimming). Great breakfast and highlight of the hotel is the roof-pool.

The photos made it seem like the hotel was on the beach which it wasn’t. The beach itself is also not accessible.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant was great and there were high levels of cleanliness. Rooms were comfortable.
