Very high price-quality. The home owners are extremely kind and have a good eye for hospitality. Warm showers, good internet connection, breakfast included, beautiful garden and room. I would definitely stay here again when I come back to visit Sigiriya. Manju also recommended an elephant safari to us, this was an amazing experience. Manju arranged everything for us, the jeep came to pick us up and return us safely home to the Homestay. We saw over 30 wild elephants and their babies chilling in the jungle and in the water. I would recommend people staying at this Homestay to also join this safari tour.

Lovely place to stay! The family is very friendly and helpful. They cooked us dinner and breakfast and even brought us to the start of our hiking trail at 5:00 in the morning! Definitely recommend!

Everything was perfect! I was so happy at Manjus place and had a great time. He helped me to make a plan for the two days and I had the most amazing elephant safari one morning. He drove me around with his Tuktuk whenever I needed it and his wife is an amazing cook! Breakfast was delicious as well as dinner!!! I felt at home!

Great hosts with a great set up. Very helpful with what to do in the area. The breakfasts were very good and changed daily and the dinners were fantastic! Great Sri Lankan food at its best. Rooms were great with lovely garden outlook. They are very accommodating and really want your stay to be special.

We had a really nice stay at Manju‘s homestay. Manju and his family have welcomed us warmly and Manju was super helpful with coordinating our stay at Sigiriya. Also the apartment was super nice and clean in the middle of the greens and surrounded by dschungle noices. The homestay is perfectly located to explore all the must sees in Sigiriya. Would definitely recommend to stay here to have an awesome experience in Sigiriya. The selfmade local breakfast was also really amazing!

We loved our stay at Manju Homestay. The accommodation was perfect (and clean!) with a private terrace in front to relax. The garden was beautiful and well maintained. The family was very friendly and our daughter loved playing with their daughter. Breakfast was great and we also had dinner both nights for a very good price and it tasted delicious. If you are reading this don’t hesitate to book, this was our favorite stay in our one month trip in Sri Lanka.

By far the best homestay I stayed at in Sri Lanka! Manju and his family are honestly lovely with guests and they made sure I was comfortable at all times. They have a wall mounted fan which rotates. The stay would become super comfortable if they install a ceiling fan.

The hosts are the best I have ever seen. The room is cosy with a spacious facility. The morning breakfast is awesome and the best I have eaten in Sri Lanka. The place is also situated near to the main road + at a stone’s distance from the Lion Rock + surrounded by forests which make it a compelling place to stay.

Perfect stay. Amazing value for money. Manju is a smiley, lovely human who will make your stay special. The bungalows are spacious, with really comfortable beds. I had dinner the night I stayed (vegetable rice and curry) and it was one of the best meals I had in Sri Lanka. I wish I’d stayed longer! Such a generous, welcoming family.

Manju and his family were really nice, we had a good time there. The accomodation itself is like being in the jungle, very good and authentic athmosphere : ) Manju took us to Pidurangala to see the sunrise and then later to Dambulla. It was one of our best staying in Sri Lanka, I’m very much grateful we’ve found this little pearl : ) And one more thing, the breakfasr was amazing!

I spent two nights at Manju‘s homestay and absolutely loved it. Dhila and Manju welcomed me so warmly and took care of everything. Manju coordinated all the activities and gave me some great tipps on where to go. And Dhila conjured up some extremely delicious Sri Lankan dishes. If you remember that it’s the home stay and not 5 stars hotel, you will really enjoy your staying.

This is a very hospitable family. Manju and Dila are just great hosts. Manju has a tuk-tuk and can offer you a driving service, including pick-up from the bus stop upon your arrival. He will provide you with very useful tips on where to go and when to visit (some sightseeing spots are very crowded, and he knows the best times to explore them). Breakfast was included, and Dila did a really great job. It was a good start to the day. Additionally, we ordered homemade dinners, which were simply delicious. The room is clean, and the bed is comfortable. The sounds of nature surround you, creating a warm and comfortable atmosphere. Magic tea is available at any time of the day from the family.
