Only issue was the generator was off during day time. But thats okay at this price range. During night time it was okay.

The staff was great. Actually, its a family run homestay type experience and all the family members were very sweet. Food was amazing, especially the breakfast. Room was big and clean. The front yard was very beautiful. They arranged an affordable safari for us too. Recommended.

The bed was a bit short for me, but I am 1.96m. For my girlfriend it was totally fine. Great place!

Veeeery nice personnel. Amazing room with toilet and shower. Everything clean and nice. They also offer sfari in Udawalawa national park. They have their own safari car. Tasty food - both, dinner and breakfast. Soft drinks available - soda, coke etc.

Very very clean, well made room, enough Space. The bathroom is very nice, warm water. We took safari : easy to organised and very helpfull guide, nice car. We had dinner : Price good and dinner very tasty (khottu for us). The owner Max is very nice and speaks good english. Definitly a great guesthouse to stay and go for safary. You can walk to babies éléphants feeding (1,3 km from room).

- nothing really! this was one of the best places we stayed in during our 1month trip around Sri Lanka

- the place is super nice and comfortable - the breakfast and dinner were DELICIOUS and huge. We enjoyed them very much - Max organised safari for us and we saw many different kinds of animals, even a huge hord or animals (I think there were 12 of them)! so we loved the whole experience - the rooms have everything you need - AC, wifi, fridge and a bonus is a partially outdoor shower which looks great - we also loved the small terrace in front of the room where you can chill - great location near the park we really enjoyed the stay and highly recommend!

We stayed here for one night and did the safari, we loved everything. Clean big room, nice beds, max was so helpful and nice, dinner and breakfast was really good, safari was amazing with a professional guide/driver that also works in the villa, help with transport to next location, cozy area with nice people. And all of this to a very fair price, honestly this was our best stay after 2 months of travelling in Asia. 11/10 :D

Max's place was lovely! The room was brilliant and very clean and comfortable with a great location. Max himself was great and organised a safari tour which was excellent! He also arranged a driver to take us to our next location at a very fair price. Would highly recommend to stay here!

We were late to arrive and booked around nightfall....... Max arranged the room within a very short notice- in minutes....the welcome coffee was amazing .....max suggested a safari early in the morning and gave his experienced driver too with a comfortable Mazda off road cab.......the safari next day was so amazing with the knowledgeable driver......after the Safari we enjoyed a nice breakfast ...rooms were clean.....hotel is easily accessible.......

Very clean and comfy rooms. Great stay for doing a Safari. We did the 4 hrs tour with Max Safari and it was gorgeous. Meals were also gorgeous, they can serve lunch and super delicious curry for dinner. Breakfast was also huge and very tasty!

The owner wanted us to cancel our booking when we told him we were doing our safari with a different company. Said he could keep the room for guests who will safari with him but this should be specified before you book the room. He does his own safari so may be best to book with him if you are staying in his place to keep him happy.

Convenient location if you are going to do Udawalawe safari. Nothing else to do around the area apart from safari. Room was basic had good air con and was clean, breakfast was great.
