The hotel is generally quite tired and could do with an upgrade. Our room was very hot and stuffy, warmer than outside as the air con didn’t seem to be working, we asked for a fan and were kindly moved rooms. The new room was large and spacious with good air con but the shower head just pointed at the wall opposite so had to hold it above your head when showering and lots of ants around the sink. We have been travelling Asia for nearly 5 months and the laundry was the most expensive we have paid for and unfortunately came back wet, it was rectified. Overall we have paid less elsewhere for more comfortable stays.

The location is ideal, close to the Main Street but away from the noise of the road. The breakfast is very good Nice swimming pool The man who owns/runs the hotel is very nice and accommodating and helped resolve our issues, thank you - but slightly lower score due to these issues unfortunately. We also really enjoyed the roti restaurant opposite which he recommended.

Aircon conked out a few times. Easily fixed by turning off and on again.

I stayed here for a few nights after the end of a trip around Sri Lanka. Mirissa is quite a touristy place, so not really my thing.....given that, I think I struck lucky finding this place. Its a little oasis of calm away from the main street. Staff are low key, but friendly. Big thanks to the boss man for arranging an airport taxi at very short notice. Much appreciated. Pool is small, but looked nice. WiFi is excellent. Room was clean and tidy, with proper mosquito nets around the bed. Lovely balcony to sit on the evening. Can't comment on breakfast as I didnt try.

Great pool area, good wifi, air con and decent breakfast all included. Good location a short walk away from the main road/beaches so nice and quiet but still close to restaurants and bars. Run by a lovely, helpful family!

Room was a little on the tired side and needs some TLC. For example, the hairdryer plug was rusty and didn't work or fit into the sockets, many of the lights in the room didn't work, fan broken and only one plug socket worked. Room was small and dark with a tiny window. In fairness we didn't ask to change and we should have asked to do this (our error) - we stayed two nights. WiFi patchy at best and not sufficient for work video calls- had to use own data - not a big issue for many just on holiday but worth noting as I do need to work whilst travelling as some may also need to do. Although issues are only minor, perhaps expect a little more for price (we paid about £25 for a night) and we've had better quality elsewhere for the same price.

The lighting in the room was a bit tricky to figure out. There was no space in the bathroom to place toiletries. The bathroom needs to be cleaned more thoroughly.

The host is very friendly. He speaks some Spanish with a very good accent. The staff was very kind. The pool has lots of sunbeds.The street is quiet and restaurants, cafés, and shops are nearby.

WiFi wasn’t great in the room. Shower was either cold or scalding hot.

Staff were friendly and helpful - stored our bags for the day as we had a late flight and let us use the pool etc after we checked out. Breakfast was delicious. Pool was clean.

It was during heavy rain but the wifi was not great in our room. The one on the card didn’t work and their fibre only just reached us.

Sahan and his family welcomed us into their home and we felt very well respected. An easy 5mins walk to the Main Street and some restaurants however do not go past the few before you reach the street, Space Garden and milky wave. Breakfast was nice, we asked for juice and without knowledge at the time Sahan went to get some from his Brillant restaurant down the road. The pool was nice and cleaned regularly by the hard working young lad. The one afternoon he was cleaning it before we wanted to use and he cutely came to our room to say was now ready for us. Our room had all we needed and a very comfy bed. Area to dry clothes outside was useful.

Great location, 5 mins walk to Mirissa Beach, 20 mins walk to Coconut Tree Hill, and 30 mins walk to Secret Beach. Very friendly and helpful staff. Yummy breakfast consisting of toast with butter/jam, tea/coffee, egg of some variety, fruit, and something Sri Lankan (pancake, hopper). Nice pool and sun beds. The room and bathroom were clean and big. WiFi was decent.

We had two separate rooms with bathroom and it was attached to their private house. It was very noisy. Sometimes the lights were on in that area and they put incense on so it was a little bit uncomfortable because there was no door between only a frame.

The host Sahan and his family were great and lovely. He arranged the whale tour, give tips for restaurants and beached and arranged tuk tuk daily. He was so kind to our kids. Everything was well organized. The breakfast was also very good in the morning and we had a big balcony.

You have here everything you need- a/c, shower gel, tooth brush, paste. Room was clean, but there is moldy wall. Standard breakfast- egg with toast, roti, fruits and tea or coffee. Location is great, close to the beach but in quiet neighbourhood. There is a nice place near, where you can try really delicious ice cream.
