We came here with our two children and it is a great place to come with family. The staff was very friendly and the hotel located in a tranquil environment at Hikkaduwa beach. We highly recommend this place.

even if I had only a short stay.. would have been nice if on second day would cleaned up the room… tea and coffee maker, and water boiler used in the kitchen, not in the room..

The room was not too clean The shower was quite strange too, there was a big stone in my bathroom instead of an actual shower and water was coming from it No hot water Also the hotel's tuk tuk driver charges more than other tuk tuk drivers so I would suggest you to check the price with locals

Mini fridge in room was exceptionally dirty. Hot water shower did not work.

This hotel didn't meet my expectations. The cups were dirty, and I had to ask twice for them to be cleaned. The containers for the milk were also dirty, which was not pleasant. I ordered an English breakfast, but what I got was disappointing. It consisted of only two slices of bread and a small omelette with just one egg. Overall, the cleanliness and the quality of service were not good, especially considering what I was entitled to based on my booking. The cups and tea items in the room were very dirty, so I had to request replacements. Additionally, the water supply stopped twice during my stay, and I had to ask the staff to turn on the water pump. These issues affected my comfort and convenience during my time at the hotel.

The only aspect I truly enjoyed about my stay was the amazing beach located just outside the hotel. Despite the shortcomings in other areas, the beauty and accessibility of the beach provided a bright spot during my time there.

I had the bottom floor room which was quite dark and didn't have much privacy. Pool was a bit dirty too.

Our AC was not cooling and its was dripping a lot of water next our bed. Bathroom was not really clean. The hotel is also far away from restaurants so you always need a tuk tuk.

some people may find hikkaduwa quiet in the off season, not a problem for me.

Great hotel right on the beach, big room with wonderful ocean view and sound of the waves, staff was generous and very helpful. Ill be back:)

The door from the beach rear entrance was locked kind of early one night and had to walk around the front.

I turned up late at night for check in on the first night unbeknowing to the owners of the hotel beforehand. I was greeted by the owners father who was very friendly and helpful upon arrival. The rooms are spacious with a balcony and keep relatively cool most of the time due to the breeze from the ocean. Also the furnishings are strong and spacious for my stuff. May I also add I was a fan of the rock pool shower effect in the bathroom! Excellent 3 nights stay! Highly recommended.
