Amazing place with beautiful people !!! The room was really nice, big, clean and comfortable ! :) Plenty of cupboards to put clothes, backpacks etc. A big racks to dry towels and clothes. The balcony was also very nice and the bathroom super clean with a big mirror and very good lights everywhere !!!! The room as a fan which works perfectly well. The breakfast was plentiful and wonderful with fresh juice every mornings :) I booked for 1 night and extended for 3 nights, I felt great there :) I highly recommend Moonlit Bay Welligama The location is also really good, not far from Welligama main beach and 15min walk from the beautiful Jungle beach and a bit further Coconut Beach. Away from the noise of the town it was a quiet and enjoyable place :) The lady who run the place is lovely, always smiling and will help you with everything you need. Thanks again for this beautiful stay I really enjoyed it ! :)

Shanika is simply the best host you can think of. Her breakfast is always something special, she easily adapted to vegan diet, she and her husband were there for us, whatever was going on, we've had amazing and deep talks and the stay was simply magical. After three months, this was the first time in Sri Lanka were we felt like friends and really connecting with the hosts. We left with tears in our eyes, after hugging good bye these wonderful people ♥️ the internet in the common area is exceptionally good, super comfortable to work from there. The secret Surfspot Fisherman's Reef is 2 minutes away by feet. The perfect spot for workation and surf :) this was the golden finale of a 3 months trip, never could have imagined it better!

Property was located next to the fisherman’s bay and very close to beautiful Jungle beach. The room was spacious, beautiful and very clean! ☺️ Breakfast was big and great and you are free to choose between western and sri lankan beakfast. The owners were very very nice and listened to all the wishes! I felt like home here and can’t recommend this Guest House more!🤗🧡 I’m definitely coming back!

I stayed with my mother at Moonlit bay from 25th - 27th Dec. We had a spacious, clean room. And the bed was comfortable. The beach is just 100m away, and no need to cross roads :D For us, the service of the hosts is the highlight of Moonlit Bay. Shanika and Nilantha were the most wonderful hosts I have come across so far. Always with a warm smile, they go out of their way to make the stay a memorable and comfortable one. Shanika's homemade Sri Lankan breakfasts are simply amazing, I would go back just for her coconut roti and fish sambal made with fresh catch of the day :) She guided us to Weligama Jungle Beach - do not miss this spot! You can snorkel, relax under the greenery, have safe sea baths, watch hermit crabs going on adventures, and can collect plenty of pretty sea shells. She also recommended us a bottu karawala (Dried fish) shop just near the place. Bonus experience: Shanika and her mother-in-law weave beeralu lace (a traditional lace art in Sri Lanka) and you can watch how they do it, a truly Sri Lankan experience. The only place I will stay when I go to Weligama again. Highly recommended if you are looking for a safe, peaceful homestay in Weligama!!

Super friendly family that made everything to make us feel welcome. Room was clean and spacious and we could choose between traditional Sri Lankan breakfast or continental, both were really good. Located in a quiet area just between Weligama and Midigama. Good value for the money, I could highly recommend.
