Very welcoming and pleasant hosts, the view from the window was very beautiful, even in the rain, a cozy house with a lot of interesting things that you want to look at.

Best staying I had not only in Sri Lanka but in general. It’s a very spacious and beautiful home stay, with amazing views in the mountains. Definitely recommend it if you want to stay in Kandy. The owners are one of the most helpful and hospitable people I have met. Very nice local breakfast as well!!

Our hosts Dr and Mrs Nirmal were amazing hosts. They were very caring and the room they provided was very nice and beautiful. Morning breakfast was awesome.

The location is beautiful and calm, not far away from the center, you can go by foot or take a tuk tuk. The hosts were really nice and friendly. The owner gave us some advices what we can see and visit, also he recommended a good place to eat. The place is really nice with a beautiful view on the valley. The room was very spacious, clean with a nice bathroom. The hosts prepare also a good srilankan breakfast for you. We enjoyed our stay here a lot.

Bathroom was a bit dated with a loose tap. Our bedroom didn't have a balcony but did open out to the garden. Scenary was lovely with birdsong but felt a little remote. Would have been nice to have tea and coffee in the room but they were always around to make it for you so not really an issue. Narrow roads to get to property and a long staircase to get to the house.

Lovely couple who generated a friendly atmosphere with them and other guests. House was enormous and impressive. Breakfast was very good. Fun watching monkeys and birds on the electricity wires outside. The couple insisted on giving me a nice herbal drink for a slight cold (and it helped!). Lots of good advice so, especially for solo travellers this would be a good place to stay. Walk to nearby (very small) village was only 15 minutes but you would need a tuk tuk to get to town for restaurants and banks and sights. Tuk tuks were plentiful and cost was around £2-3.

We had a warm welcome. Our room was very spacious and comfortable. Our taxi driver, who works there, was very kind. He showed us lots of things and explained them very well. He also treated my son very nicely. The breakfast was lovely. We recommend this place.

A tastefully decorated & luxurious room, with beautiful views in a lovely home. The hosts are a very kind and friendly couple who made us feel very welcome. The location is lovely and away from the bustle of Kandy but still very accessible by tuktuk or a nice 25 minute stroll

Maybe a bit fat from city center (25 min by walk on the way down... Tuk Tuk required on way up but very cheap so no worries) No aircon but a big fan was operating in the room... Far enough to me.

The most beautiful house of my stay in Sri Lanka... The room was clean and spacious, in a very quiet environment. You really feel like you're part of the family and you can easily gather and talk with the owners.

We were really happy we decided to stay here, as Dr Nimal and his wife were so welcoming, it was great to be in a quiet area away from the busy road, the home cooked breakfast the next day including hoppers etc was really good, and it was great to get to know Dr Nimal and his wife. Quite a way from town centre. Room was dimly lit as 2 lightbulbs were not working.

Dr Nimal & Lanka were great hosts & helped us arrange a city tour & transfer, as well as providing a very good breakfast. Was a good hot shower too! Cannot speak highly enough of their driver Lalith, he was fantastic!!
