Everything’s was Perfect

They host is really nice & helps you with everything. They only have two rooms, which makes you feel like you‘re alone in treehouse. Everything is out of wood and the rooms are clean. It‘s really nice to hang out on the balcony and watch the nature & hear the river. Breakfast changes every day & was delicious! Thank your for the amazing time!

Everything was perfect, got zero complaints

The place was squeaky clean but most importantly the staff was literally the kindest I’ve ever met. The place is absolutely stunning and the hospitality we got was exceptional. Can’t wait to be back here again.

It is a very beautiful personal accommodation with a wonderful view. You can watch birds, butterflies and the small squirrels. The host and his family are super nice and helpful and have good recommendations what to do in the area. There is a private Tuk Tuk service for fair prices and super nice drivers. We felt very much at home and were sad to leave after 3 nights.

This was one of our best experience ever. This house is build by the owner, only from wood. You are completely surrounded by nature and you can hear the river. The breakfast is very good and the owner is extremly kind, he will help you with his tuk tuk for a lower price. I will recommend this acommodation to all of my friends who will come to Sri Lanka💛

WiFi is not great but works for minimum need You need transportation to get to the city center cause walking is a bit far honestly. Either Tuktuk or picme, the owner is also very nice and will bring you :-)

Amazing view and great design of the lodge merged with nature so well. But nothing would be the same without great host who really puts a smile on your face and help with everything. Ella is such an amazing place a must see

Could improve a bit on the breakfast portions

There was no hot water. Mosquito net was uncinvinient and smelly.

The hot water didn't work at all. It's a common problem in srilanka because the hot water system works with solar panels and when it's cloudy no hot water!

Very nice location and outstanding view from your room, even inside the room, because there was a glass window there. A lovely family manage it and they are so welcoming.

Very dark room with not so much natural light, could have been better with more natural light. No shampoo, but we realised this is common in a lot of hotels in Sri Lanka. A lot of insects since this is in the middle of nature, but an insect repellent plug in could have helped a bit. And last but not least, it was a bit far from the city, I highly recommend renting a scooter.

Nicely built wooden cottage on the hill side. The owner built it himself and took a lot of care in the details. 5 minute tuktuk ride from the center of Ella. Although next to the road there is no noise, as the rooms are situated down on the slope.

Wifi unfortunately did not work- but the owner was taking care for this immediately and contacted the provider.

Great small hotel on the road to Ella. The view into the green is amazing and the rooms are well equipped with a refrigerator and clean. The location is not directly in the center but the owner brought me at any time in the center by Tuktuk for a very fair price. The hosts are super friendly. The shower is hot. I would stay here again!
