Amazing value for money! The food is simply amazing and freshly cooked by the wive of the host - big portions and extremely nice presentation! Location is good - 15 min drive to the entrance of the national park. The safari organized by the host was better then we could have ever expected and our highlight was the jeep driver who is a neighbour of the host! His English was perfect and he explained everything we saw very detailed! Would definitely recommend this homestay!

One of our most luxurious stays. Very friendly and communicative owner (Dim) who was happy to answer any of our questions and make arrangements for our safari needs. We had our own cottage with patio and outdoor bathroom. Breakfast wasn't the best we've had, but lunch and dinner were delicious. Our safari in Udawalawe park was a great experience, Dim arranged a very friendly driver for us who was very knowledgeable about the area and the animals.

We booked a room with a balcony but there was no such thing.

The accommodation is located within walking distance from the elephant orphanage. We did the 6-hour safari package with breakfast lunch and dinner included. (Which we were happy with as there are very limited options available for food in town). The host is super friendly and we loved the food presentation. Good value for money.

The room was amazing value. Dimu was super friendly & helpfull with everything we needed. We left our shoes outside at night and he secured them from the dogs. Let us hang up our laundry and so on. All in all it was a great stay with the best room we had so far in Sri Lanka for the best price and the water was actually warm.

We had a wonderful stay here. Dimu was a super host, so kind and helpful and the food was delicious too. He organised our jeep safari for us and we can really recommend this. Our driver was very knowledgeable and thoughtful towards the animals as well. When our Uber taxi cancelled and left us stuck trying to get to our next destination, Dimu helped us sort some other transport. The accommodation is spacious and comfortable. It is very new and clean and a lovely place to stay. There is a communal lounge, an outdoor seating area downstairs for breakfast and we were served our dinner on the upstairs veranda which was lovely too.

The hotel was clean and the bed super comfy. They served every morning Sri Lankan breakfast and tea. The owner of the hotel also owns a Safari Jeep and organized for us a Safari to the Udawalawa National Park. We liked staying here and definitely recommend this place.

a very clean and new hotel, even the films still remained in some places for transportation. the owner is a kind and unobtrusive young man, did not bother with additional services. the breakfast is very hearty, there are kitchen options to choose from.

눀 – This is definitely the place you should stay in Uda Walawe!! What a little gem! You will receive such a warm welcome from the host, Dimu. He is absolutely adorable and so friendly and smiling! He takes such good care of his guests, making sure we are having the best of time. The guesthouse is all new and modern and so well decorated. The garden is so nice and relaxing. Room is spotless, beautiful and very spacious. Bed is so comfy and there is a nice mosquito net. Bathroom is great too with hot shower. Wifi works perfectly. We booked the half day safari through Dimu and it was so amazing. Our driver was so nice and so friendly and very respectful to the animals (not all drivers are). Dimu packed a takeaway breakfast for me so I could eat it during the safari, which was very nice of him. My stay was so perfect and this place really deserves a 10 !!
