the staff is so kind. they really made our stay lovely. and the dinners we got were delicious and affordable. we liked having access to the free bikes. and we loved the beaches nearby. a great stay and also affordable so double win! note: on google maps the location is Newland Hotel.

Great place, we really enjoyed our stay! You can get bikes for free and in 10min you are at the beach, delicious breakfast, you can also get dinner which is very good for super price, we haven't seen any restaurant with great food for a good price since everything is more expensive due to resorts. The owner does everything to make your stay unforgettable, room is very clean and there was a good WiFi, also AC was working fine, we would recommend this place to anybody.

Lots of mosquitoes, they do have mosquito nets in the room but if you’re very prone to getting bit like me then they’re a nuisance when you’re outside of the net.

This a lovely family run hotel. The family are really friendly, helpful and welcoming. The rooms are clean and spacious and the AC works well. It’s good value for money and close by to beautiful Passikudah beach. They cooked us a lovely fish dinner for a very good price, which we ate on the table on the balcony in front of our room which they had cordoned off for privacy. They provide bicycles to get to the beach, which is helpful as the walk would be long as the hotel is secluded. It only took around 7 minutes to cycle to the seafront. It was a nice stay with a lovely feel to the place.

If you are expecting an area with lots of restaurants/bars etc. this isn't the place for you. This is a quiet area with a few very small places to eat, a liquor shop, and some small food shops selling crisps and biscuits. But that was ideal for us as we were able to eat at our guest house and we loved relaxing on the balcony, swimming in the sea, cycling at sunset, and the less touristy vibes!

There's a beautiful area to sit outside the room with tables and chairs and space to dry your laundry! We ate breakfast and dinner at the guest house every day and the food was lovely and reasonably priced. They even accommodated our vegan diet, changing some items around and swapping out eggs for dal etc. The room was more spacious than expected and came with a mosquito net that was in good condition! The bed was comfy and the bathroom was clean! It also had not only a big light but a smaller dim-able softer light which is so rare in budget accommodation and is so nice for ambiance in the evenings! The best thing about this guest house is the free bicycles they let you use. They have four, so there was always a bike when we wanted one. The bikes made getting to and from the beaches so much quicker and easier, and it was also really fun. The roads are quiet around here and lots of people cycle so it always felt safe. They also have free Wi-Fi that worked really well! This is the perfect place to stay in Pasikuda for cheap! The guest house is located between Pasikuda beach and our favourite, quieter beach - Kalkudah. (Highly recommend going for a sunset swim at Kalkudah beach!) It's family run and the family running it are so lovely and friendly. Communicating with them was a breeze and they were always happy to help us!

In general, service could be improved in some areas. 1. Blanket and towel was not ready when upon check in and we had to ask a few times for them. We got the blanket eventually but towels were only available next day as they were not fully dried. 2. Perhaps a miscommunication on the laundry service. We asked whether they provide such service but informed only next day that staff was sick. Hence, we asked for laundry places nearby which charges local price (by kg) and was referred to Amaya Hotel who also does laundry for external guests and was informed price would be reasonable. However, Amaya Hotel charges laundry by “per price” and includes additional service charge. As we had about 4kg of laundry, we estimated it would cost more than double to triple of what we usually pay and decided it was not worth it but do it in our next destination.

Spacious and comfortable room, air conditioned with mosquito net. Property is a short drive away to the beach and has garden compound to park our tuk tuk. Hangout area in front of the room was nice. Major plus was the food offered, it was fairly priced and very good value and tasted good, would recommend.

The position of the plug..

Definitely the best and most genuine place to stay in Pasikuda! The room was CLEAN. The WiFi WORKED. The food was GREAT! The people are FRIENDLY & ACCOMODATING. The location QUIET! The beaches are very CLOSE and they even let you have a bicycle to roam around FREE of charge! In Pasikuda everyone looks at you like you're walking money. The only honest people I met was Runi (the owner) and his family, and Robinson the tuktuk driver.

Great place for the amount we paid. It was so close to the pasikuda beach. They even would provide lunch/ dinner for an additional cost if we requested. There was ample parking space. We loved the place.

we booked this property and got confirmation but when we got there, the host told us that there is no vacancy. They gave us a room from an other house behind this property. That room was junk. beds were smelly. The aircon was not working and only the dust coming out of the aircon. When we complained about this, the host told we booked for non aircon room. obviously we didn’t go through the facilities before we booked but who will stay in that place without aircon when the temperature was over 36 degrees with high humidity. This place also not close to the beach. if you want to stay in a decent accommodation at Pasikuda, please stay somewhere else

The mattress was a bit hard Wifi didn’t work for us No hot water at all. Showers were quite cold

Clean and spacious room The fan worked pretty well so the room was pretty cool even without AC The host prepared for us a delicious vegetarian breakfast and dinner at a very reasonable price The host allowed us to use the bicycles for free. Those came in really handy as the property is set over a kilometre away from the beach. The area was very quiet and peaceful Friendly and helpful staff
