Two bungalow-rooms in a beautiful garden run and own by a local family. We had a really nice stay, breakfast with fresh fruits and traditional dishes. The hosts were friendly and very helpful, they gave us useful recommendations and even cooked for us a delicious local dinner and organized a fantastic safari in the Hurulu Eco Park. We can only recommend it!

Hospitality was great!!, Welcome drink with the refreshing towels was very soothing after a long day travel. Stayed there for 2 days with a toddler and felt like home through out the stay. They were kind enough to customize Breakfast for my daughter. Great food and friendly hosts ☺️

As usual in Asian countries some hangers or supplies to hang up clothes would have been excellent...

Very friendly people; good breakfast ; we had 2 times an excellent dinner; -- we rent a tuk tuk and got from owner a free tuk tuk driving lesson 😀, which helped a lot; they organized as well a Safari tour for us and a private pick up at Negombo airport; if needed they would have taken us around by Tuk Tuk

Property is on a main road so not in the midst of the tourism but just a bit further down. The apartment is clean, spacious and the filling breakfast was made fresh.

This was our best accommodation so far in Sri Lanka. As a family we had two rooms, they were together, separate from the hosts home. The rooms are large with comfy beds and large clean bathrooms. There is a nice address to sit outside amongst the fruit trees and gardens. The host provided a great breakfast each morning

We really liked the room, it was clean, big enough, with comfortable beds. The host picked us up in the evening from the train station and helped us with the transportation. The breakfast was really delicious, home-made and more than we could eat!

We absolutely recommend staying in this cute little guesthouse. It s clean, with compfy beds, a rainshower and a nice little balcony with a view on the garden. We spotted blackfaced monkeys, a mangoose, and those big squirrels. The family is so welcoming, they offer to cook dinner (it was delicious every single time) and the included breakfast is delicious too (fruit, coffee tea toasts, and two sri lanka specialities that change every morning). They helped us plan our trip and are truly wonderful people. We extended our stay and loved it. Will come back :)

We had an amazing stay at Nimsara Lodge! Ashoka and Bandara and their two sons Nimsara and Kanishka were super friendly. They always made sure everything was going well and if we needed anything they were there to help straight away. Bandara drove us to multiple activities is his tuktuk and Ashoka cooked amazing food for us. We had breakfast and dîner there every night! The rooms are spacious and very clean. We really enjoyed having our little terrace in the beautiful and quiet garden. We would definitely recommend coming and stay with this wonderful family. They will make you feel at home. I had such an amazing time at this guest house! The location is perfect, close to Sigiriya rock. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The AC was good and the wifi was strong. Bandara and his family made me feel at home, the meals were delicious. Highly recommended!
