The walk to the beach or main street in Weligama takes a while; renting a scooter for a day or two seems to be a good option!

The place is super cool & felt very well taken care of. The staff was always available to help us with questions. Our surf class with the instructor Avi was great! Also the Yoga lesson was the best I ever had. I accidentally left my wallet in the safe and was informed immediately (no money was missing). We also enjoyed the Nintendo Switch in the common area! Breakfast was great.

Really clean and nice place! Love the people here, owner, staff, yogateacher, everyone was so sweet. Breakfast buffet, yoghurt, toast, some local food, so good. Also love the fact that you can join activities even though it’s not a hostel. 👌🏻

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Oasia surf house and it truly exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism by the staff. The room was impeccably clean, spacious, and The service was attentive and the ambiance was elegant. The hotel's location was also ideal, situated in a prime area. Overall, I cannot recommend highly enough. Whether you're traveling for business or leisure, this hotel offers everything you need for a memorable stay. I look forward to returning in the near future!

Nina and the team really put their hearts into their hotel and it shows. Super comfy, well maintained, all facilities were great and the hotel was equipped with different games from Nintendo to volly Ball to Badminton.

I recently enjoyed a 10-day stay at OASIA Boutique Surf House. From the clean and stylish rooms, to the friendly team, and the peaceful local setting, it was exactly what I was seeking in my Weligama stay — a place to regroup, hang with interesting people and enjoy some surf and yoga time. A 12-minute walk or short tuk-tuk ride to Weligama Beach, the beauty of the OASIA is that it’s close enough to the surf scene but just far enough away to offer a truly relaxed vibe where you primarily hear the many different bird species hanging in the trees. If you’re headed to Weligama and looking for a relaxed stay, do yourself a favour and check out the OASIA.

This place is amazing! I really felt like home. Every person from staff and also the guests are so nice. Rooms are very clean and they can be cleaned during your stay if you need. Breakfast are very tasty. There are some additional activities that you can join like yoga or surf lesson (additionally paid).

Location is not the most convenient as it’s a little bit far from the main road. I would consider that if you like going out in the evening alone. There is always a possibility to book tuk tuk or get on one nearby though. Still worth it!

Amazing place with it’s unique vibe. As a solo traveler I enjoyed the tranquility and nice community. Every detail is taken into account. I highly recommend it to beginner surfers as well because the coach is highly professional and the beach is perfect for that. I would also advise to try yoga on rooftop with their experienced yoga teacher! I have to mention that the information provided by the owner was super helpful. I completed almost everything on the list. All the places mentioned were worth visiting!

Everything was excellent! Nina and Teja (owners) were super friendly and helpful. Gave lots of tips on where to go what to do and arranged transportation to the airport. Staff working in this house was awesome too! Girls who were in charge of breakfast, security guys and they had yoga teacher in the house too! Basil cocktail it’s a must if you are staying here! Would definitely comeback here again!

Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to stay in Weligama. The property is tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the main road, but is still a walk or short Tuk Tuk drive from the beach. Great place to stay if you are looking for surfing, yoga, to relax or meet new people. The property honestly felt like a home away from home, Nina and Teja have made such a cosy, homely environment it was hard to leave!

Nothing, everything was absolutely perfect throughout!

Originally booked for 5 days and stayed for 9! I had been travelling round Sri Lanka and this was by far the highlight of my trip. Nina and Teja have created a beautiful environment where you instantly feel welcome and relaxed. They’ve selected an amazing team of staff who are super helpful and friendly, they go above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need at all times. It’s incredible value for money- the whole place has been done to a very high standard, it’s exceptionally clean and well designed. There are so many nice spots around the hotel to hang out in- the back garden and rooftop were my favourite :) and there’s plenty of social activities to get involved in if you’re a solo traveller, but can equally have your privacy and space if/ when you prefer to. The location is idyllic, a short but beautiful walk out of town makes you feel like you’re almost waking up in the jungle as it’s so peaceful. Already planning my next trip here as it feels like home away from home 🩷 Thank you to the whole Oasia team!

Our stay at OASIA was truly amazing! The rooms are super clean, comfy and tastefully decorated. The entire house is very modern and inviting, which immediately made us feel at home. Nina and her amazing team do a great job of creating an inviting atmosphere as well and are always super friendly, caring and helpful. From offering yoga sessions, organizing surfing sessions and also communal dinners every aspect of our stay was great. After two weeks of traveling through Sri Lanka and staying in various homestays (all of which were nice), stumbling upon this great place was a true highlight for us. We wholeheartedly recommend staying here!

OASIA is modern, clean and well decorated. The surf house is located in a quiet area. The hosts and staff were very kind, caring and made us feel home from the first minute. Breakfast was excellent and the activities proposed are also great. There’s a lovely and homely vibe to this place and our only regret was not having stayed longer. We’ll definitely be back!

Loved everything about the stay in Oasia. Came for 2 nights and stayed 7 - felt very welcome and it was a very lovely community and I met the best people :) you can definitely stay easily alone there and enjoy the prettiest “dorms” ever. Nina and Thea were the best hosts and helped with everything I asked for. We went out for food and drinks, or just had movie nights together but there was no pressure to join and you could also just do your own thing. I did yoga at the rooftop, just chilled at the pool or enjoyed all the possibilities you have around the area. The breakfast, food ans drink options were really good as well. You really feel that they created the place with all their heart and they also fill this Oase with their hearts 🧡☺️ thanks for the wonderful stay - I really wanna come back one day :)

Can't fault absolutely anything. Everything was absolutely perfect.

Everything was perfect. From the quiet location, to the cleanliness, comfort of the bed, how new and beautiful everything is. I would have stayed there for a month and will definitely stay again. It's the perfect mix of social and private, breakfast is really nice, common areas are comfy and beautiful.
