We had a wonderfull stay. The location is perfect, close to everything you need. There was a washing machine that we could use as well, which was a big plus. The apartment had everything you need ! And very clean. It was a great stay !

In this place very good owners. They did helping us with all. Our room had a kitchen and sometime it was very comfortable. We lived on 3-th floor and don't see moscquitos. Room didn't have valance - it's comfortbale too. Nevertheless we used a fumigator just in case. Very close to weligama beach for surfing. Around of Oriental Vila many cafe and restaraunts.

Wifi was patchy sometimes

Beautiful self contained rooms with kitchen, fridge and air con. This setup was perfect for me to get away from it all at my own pace, but would also be great for couples or those with young families. The location provides easy access (via laneway) to the best part of the surf beach. Many local restaurants are a short walk away. The owners are really lovely people, and happy to assist or chat about anything you’re interested in doing. I loved this place so much I extended my stay for numerous days.

Excellent hotel. Big rooms, big bed, air conditioning, fridge, full kitchen with all needs fulfilled. Very friendly and helpful owners and just 100 metres to the beach. I stayed extra nights as it was perfect for me.

No mosquito net

The room was very large. Comfortable bed and there was a kitchen. The owners were super friendly. Location is great. Once we discovered the shortcut on the other side of the road we were at the beach in a few minutes.

Poor internet

Hosts is a very nice couple , they have a water for a good price and more importantly you can rent a bike also for very good price . I did not know that so I overpaid for mine in another place. Location is very comfortable , everything pretty close and you do not need to drive . The room was clean with enough space and calm neighbors. So it is a very good place to stay , what you need to keep in mind that internet is poor and suitable only for chatting if you plan to work perhaps it will be hard

I little bit nosy because of the road, but at night it is quiet and not hot!

The room is clean and cozy. Good kitchen, all necessary staff, toaster, kettle, blender, good fridge. I lived in the room with A/C. You can use a washing machine, good internet, was enough for work. You can buy water from the host cheaper than in the nearest shop. The beach is very close. The second floor is very good - enough light in the room and few mosquitoes. It was a table in the room, it's good and comfortable.

The road is close to the villa, and you can hear the noise of tuk-tuks during the day (it is really quiet at night). But for me the location was appropriate as I was looking for place to live close to the surf spot, yoga and cafe.

The villa is nice and all facilities are included: private bathroom, washing machine, cooker, fridge, even blender, rice cooker and toaster =) Surf spot, yoga and restaurants 5 minutes to go on foot) Housekeepers are wonderful and cute people! They were very friendly and helpful)

Small fleas

Very wonderful hosts, super welcoming family. Safe place (the house is surrounded by big walls and the gate is locked during nighttime. Very good price-quality ratio, with big bedroom & bathroom. Kitchenette has everything you can need for a short stay. Clean rooms, and ventilator. Super close to the beach (4 mins walk) and surf shops. Totally recommend.

Noisy road, that's all I can think of.

We had a great stay at Weligama Oriental Villa. The family who runs the place is absolutely wonderful. The rooms are spacious and it's so nice to have your own little kitchen with toaster, blender, fridge, gas burner. There's also a short cut path that goes from right outside the property and down to the main road/beach which makes it only a 2 minute walk to the surf. I truly recommend Weligama Oriental Villa.
