Perfect stay 😎👍

We loved our stay, private, comfortable, relaxing and a piece of paradise. My husband had to drag me out the door for sightseeing. Would have happily have stayed ‘at home’ - and that’s a first ever!!

Everything. The place is just beautiful, with lots of trees and plants surrounding it. The breakfast is fabulous, the beds are super-comfy, that staff is very helpful. Everything is super clean. There are some beach toys, in case you travel with kids, like we did. The place is very quiet and so, so beautiful.

The father-son owners were so friendly and helpful with recommendations and arrangements. The entire hotel has a really nice feeling about it. Breakfast starts with a big plate of fruit and then you are given a Western or Sri Lankan option, both are delicious. The beds are comfortable and grounds of the hotel lovely.

Everything. It was faultless. Charindu and his family are exceptional. They helped us with everything we needed including a fantastic airport transfer. Breakfast was great. Room was spotless and had a high standard. Beach was around 10 minute walk away so you're close without being able to hear the town centre. Stunning. Not a chance we'd stay anywhere else if we returned to Mirissa.

One of the best properties we stayed at in Sri Lanka and great value for money. This was the most affordable hotel during our entire stay yet the experience was great. The room and toilet was spotless clean, staff was very polite and location is about 10 mins walk from Mirissa beach. Highly recommended

From the moment we arrived we felt so welcomed and relaxed at the Peacock Villa. Very clean rooms, well maintained place with yammy breakfast. We felt very comfortable and safe staying with our two small kids at this place. Big plus they have laundry service.

More just a note for other guests that we did have a couple of gecko visitors to our room, but they didn’t bother us and likely helped keep any bugs at bay ;)

The hotel/villa is in a fantastic location, within short walking distance to the main beach and the many highly rated restaurants/cafés. We never had to use a tuk tuk during our stay because of how walkable everything was. We also loved the decoration style of the villa - it truly felt like a home away from home. The reception area had some great books and games available to guests. Our room was exceptionally clean, with great attention to detail. There was an instruction guide pinned to the wall with all of the key information you’d need including wifi passwords, a number to call/message reception with and a map to the key locations - all of which Charindu the receptionist/manager kindly took us through during our check-in. The breakfast was also fantastic! There were three options to choose from but we chose the Sri Lankan breakfast which we loved. All of the staff were great & friendly, but we have to give a special shout-out to Charindu the receptionist/manager who took special care of us (and I’m sure many others) during our stay. He was always available, on the phone or in person, super efficient and always had a smile on his face. We accidentally took our room key with us after check-out - a customised key with a cute elephant key ring, a wood engraved room number & and - very ironically - a lovely laminated message asking guests to not forget to hand the room keys back upon check-out 😂. I say all this to say that the key would not have been easily replaceable. Once we’d realised our error (we were in communication with Charindu the whole time), we were already in another city and though we tried to arrange dropping it off on our way back, the distance was ultimately too great, so we offered compensation instead, but try as we might, Charindu would not accept it - he was determined to not inconvenience us in any way, though this was clearly our mistake. He instead told me to keep the key as a fond memento/souvenir of our...

The team made every effort to make our stay comfortable. We had a spacious room, and verything was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was top notch, with a choice of Sri Lankan or waffles, both with a plate of local fruits. This was out favorite stay in Sri Lanka so far. Thank you!

Everything was just perfect!

Spotless clean, huge rooms with all the facilities you can need, perfectly curated and excellent attention to details from everyone on the staff. Owners are kind, available anytime for any request they can help with Beautiful location, walking distancr to Mirissa center but tucked away in a small jungle so it will be you, the monkeys and (noisy but exotic) peacocks. Breakfast was one of the best we've had in Sri Lanka - tasty, with 3 daily options, out of which one changes every day so there is plenty of variety and good quality. Big, comfortable beds, everything in the rooms and guesthouse is so clean, high quality. The 85 euros/night price is totally worth it! We loved our 4 nights stay here

Location is little tricky when you reach for the first time. Two routes Google maps show, better opt for the longer distance. Because the short one is not a road, only two-wheeler can be used in this route. There is no light and it is pitch dark and unsafe as it is next to a water canal. Once you are there you know which one to use 😜 You have to walk in dim-lit road to reach restaurants, but lot of restaurants nearby.

Super clean rooms, beds and washroom. Wonderful hosts. Tasty breakfast with 2 options ( English/European and Srilankan). Location was great with lots of peacock 🦚. The name Peacock Villa is justified 🤩 Big vehicle available for airport and local sightseeing.

It was a pleasure to stay at Peacock Villa. Really tranquil stay with truly amazing, kind & humble hosts Charindu and Gomida who went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and well looked after. Airport pick up was great and super professional. The room was spacious and spotless. Breakfast is delicious and generous. Some nice board games & library in the lobby and a piano! Jungle views, watching monkeys playing in the trees and peacocks in the garden. Thank You for hosting us, we hope we can come back one day :)
