Nicely decorated rooms with a beautiful view. Bed was comfy and the room spacious. Breakfast and diner were delicious and served on the rooftop terrace. The hosts were really friendly, organised Tuktuk, helped with last minute train tickets and he even drove us to Nuwara Eliya. The best ride we had in Sri Lanka.

We loved our 3 night stay. The property is beautifully designed and set in a quiet location approx 3km from Kandy Lake. We liked that we were outside of the city centre, which is busy, but only 10-15 minutes away by tuk tuk (400-500 rps). Our room was clean and comfortable with good working air con and a ceiling fan. Heshan is a great host and a pleasure to speak with. He kindly dropped us in town one evening for free and also rented us a well kept scooter and two clean helmets. The breakfast is very nice and served on a wonderful rooftop. We also enjoyed a lovely dinner one evening. Ruben is a great chef. We will stay again when next in Kandy. Thank you Heshan and family.

The owner was super helpful giving us recommendations and help with the Kandy to Ella train as we didn’t have reserved tickets. The room was very spacious and clean and the host gave us transport into the city centre free of charge. Overall a great stay and a beautiful villa!

Our host Hashan and his wife were amazing! Very friendly and helpful with everything. The breakfast was good on the rooftop (awesome view), the room was spacious and perfectly clean, the location was good as it was not in the polluted loud city center (you don't want to stay there). Value for money is very good. We would book it again, certainly. Recommend to everyone who is visiting Kandy and wants a high quality stay with good service.

Fantastic hosts that will make you feel at home immediately! Heshan and his wife will take any opportunity to assist you whenever they can without being pushy. The room is very cleanand comfortable with a good bed and shower. A superb breakfast is served on the rooftop with a beautiful view of the surrounding nature. Last but not least, it’s a very quiet environment compared to the busy city center. But by TukTuk it’s a 10’ ride and can be easily arranged by the owners or use the PickMe app.

Remli Villa is a great place to stay. The rooms are spacious and neat, with a kitchenette attached. The wifi works perfectly. The house is in a quiet neighbourhood which made us, with our 9-year-old son, feel completely safe. Breakfast is served on the rooftop terrace, with a great view. We stayed there for three nights, breakfast was a little different three times and delicious every time! We also ate there once in the evening, which was also amazing. Heshan and Yani were always there for us with a smile! Heshan suggested a few times to pick us up for free. He also arranged for our laundry to be done. He is a good storyteller and knows a lot about the culture and history of Sri Lanka and Kandy. Remli Villa comes highly recommended! We would definitely stay here again if we went back to Kandy.

Everything, very clean, very nice hosts, Breakfast delicious, nice rooftop for breakfast and to chill. You can See a lot of birds and monkeys. Its a little outside of the city, but with tuktuk youre in the city in 10minutes (ca. 400-500 SLR). Anyways We preferd it to stay there, because its calm an way better air:)

This was the best we stayed in during our 2 week trip to Sri Lanka. Lovely host who picked us up from the station and gave us lots of good advice. Amazing breakfast and immaculate modern room. Very peaceful and pretty location 5km out of town. Would highly recommend.

We had the best stay at Remli Villa ! He and his wife made sure we had everything we needed, he drove us to the city many times and helped us to organize our stay :) the bed was so comfy and we had hot showers. The local breakfast with a view was so good also!! We highly recommend this place to anyone going to Kandy !

Lovely homestay outside the city centre in a peaceful and tranquil setting. The room was lovely and spacious and the hosts couldn't be more helpful. Lovely breakfast. The host arranged seats for us at the traditional dance show and drove us into town and picked us up later. Highly recommended.

I had the most warm welcome at Remli Villa! They helped me with the tour around the city, my train tickets, offered pick up and drop off. The room was amazing with a beautiful view. Breakfast was so good and served on a wonderful rooftop. The second day I had an early train so a got some takeaway breakfast. They’re the most warm couple you’ll meet in Sri Lanka. 100% recommend!

Our stay in Remli Villa was a really great experience. The hosts are so helpful and friendly. We are very grateful for all help with transport. We felt very taken care of. The host offered us free rides. Breakfast was delicious and we could eat it in beautiful place. I would really come back there!
