The only minor thing I have to say is that on my first night it rained a lot and quite a lot of water came through under one of the doors in my room. I noticed quickly so moved my bag and put a towel down so it wasn’t a major issue, nothing to stop me recommending the place. Just maybe a note to the owner that it would be great to fix this issue :)

The property is in a great location, close to shops, restaurants, and the beaches. Mirissa is quite small anyway so everything is walkable. The room itself was spotless and very spacious and has a balcony I enjoyed sitting on. There was a fridge in the room which was useful to keep drinks cold and there was also tea and coffee and a kettle which was nice. The owners were also friendly and check in and out were very smooth.

The host was so kind and polite. We arrived before noon but could easily check in. The SriLankaan breakfast was fresh prepared and tasted great. Leaving, we could keep our suitcases there untill late afternoon and could take a final shower. The room included A/C, was very clean, and no Moskitos. Outside area was quiet, good for a rest, and equipped with an outdoor shower. Beach was in walking distance, beach restaurant was A++ was nice. It was a pleasure for us :-) Rem, we had a 3 bed room in the basement.

We had a really nice stay at Happiness. The location was great; close to the beach, restaurants etc. The place was quiet and the family running the place are very lovely, welcoming people. The room is spacious, has a mosquito net and is super clean. The place provided us with laundry service, scooter service and king coconuts :) we couldn't ask for more. They even extended our stay when we wanted to stay longer which was fab! Thank you for everything; we loved our stay!

Even though the room was great value for money, some improvements could be great, like a cover for the mattress, sheets for the blankets, and a less noisy AC. For us, the covered glass was also a little of a surprise, since we loved the view from the balcony but couldn't see it because of the opaque glass.

The villa is located in a nice place – everything is easily reachable from the place it's at. The garden is green and beautiful, the room is spacious, the shower is very good, and the hosts are friendly. We also liked the spacious balcony with the comfortable chairs and table.

Although the bed was comfy. The mattress was in desperate need of a protector! The AC was very loud. And we had noisy people above us.

The host brought us a cocunt to drink on arrival, which was greatly appreciated - a large room and balcony. Good sized fridge and a kettle. Quiet location. Helpful and friendly host. Warm water in the shower with good pressure. The balcony was great for drying hand washing.

Dilki arranged for her brother to meet us at the station and even though the train was very late, he was still waiting for us. This was a relief as it was dark, so we were very grateful. The room was cool, airy and spotlessly clean. Very comfortable with a very good price-quality ratio. The bed is big and comfortable, the room is quite spacious, with a mosquito net, A/C and fan. Besides, the mosquito net was already down when I arrived, thus reducing the possibility of having mosquitos already flying in the bed space. There's a power connection next to the bed, which is helpful if you need to charge your phone while laid down. There's hot water for shower. The location is close to the beach (5 min walk), close to a supermarket and several ATMs (which you'll need to pay). Very nice amd humble owners, which were very helpful because they have a tuk tuk which ended up taking me to Hiriketiya for a very good price. It was a pleasure!

Just a kitchen was missing.

The Family welcomed me with a fresh coconut. The room was big, clean, comfortable and had everything I needed. The location is close to the beach (5 - 10 Minutes walk) and close to the main road and like this to shops and restaurants. The place is quiet and you can also sit outside on the calm terrace. I had a great stay.

If I need to say something I’ll mention the smokers on one side of the balcony next door to me, but I suppose that was out of Dilki’s control and can happen anywhere.

It was spotless, friendly stall away from the noise of the beach with beautiful views from the balcony. We saw monkeys, peacocks and various beautiful birds. Dilki the owner is delightful. She arranged a whale and dolphin tour for us which was very good too. Thank you Dilki for everything.

The noise of the air conditioner unit from the next room

Beautiful sea breeze, although the hotel is back from the beach and the main road so it was very quiet. There were some ants getting into the balcony and the room, and the staff came and cut down a branch from an overhanging tree (the ants' highway!) and put down some ant powder.
