It's a bit of a distance from the centre but easy to get in by tuk tuk.

Beautiful hotel. So luxurious. Perfect if you are after a quiet,peaceful few days away as there are few people around and you have the beach to yourself. Beachfront and a lovely pool. Breakfast was also good. We stayed for our honeymoon and they had petals on the bed, a nice touch. Staff were very nice.

No fault of the property or staff: Lack of atmosphere. It’s almost eerily quiet. No music anywhere, no one else on the beach, no public restaurant so it’s perhaps a nice place for couples or a family who want total privacy and peace rather than travelers that prefer a more of an atmosphere. The location is not in Mirissa town but is a short tuk tuk drive away. You can hear the ocean and road but it isn’t super loud. You cannot swim in the sea due to the strong current but if you walk down further there is a bay with calmer clear water.

Beautiful property set on a peaceful beach. Good if you like a very quiet place away from the busy town. The staff were super friendly, attentive and helpful. There was good sized balcony which caught the sun and had with chairs and a table. Bed was super cosy, room was spotless, cleaned daily, there was a tv, safety box, hair dryer, fridge, water, air con. The bathroom was spotless, walk in rain shower, toiletries. I had booked a garden view which is facing the entrance grounds and roadside. There are also seaview rooms. There is a turn down service in the evenings where they also replace water tea & coffee. Breakfast was delicious. Fruit, pastries and the option of local or western breakfast with tea/coffee. I asked for pancakes on the last day and there were delicious. I was able to see hatchling sea turtles in the hatchery right on the beach. The on duty breakfast staff kindly let me know they were hatching. Amazing!

The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. nice house with a sense for detail. Especially Lakmal communicated very well with us, very responsive on WhatsApp and he took personally excellent care of us. Thanks a lot! beautiful surroundings with wild animals at the beach.

Not clean enough, the pool in front of the Beach suite is quite dirty much like the big pool. Keep in mind there is no staff at the property and feels odd, everything is bound to their sister property which can easily be accessed by brief beach stroll so not a big issue. Coffee machine would be nice to have instead of the instant coffee, too

Close to Mirissa beach and hearty breakfast but cannot swim in the sea in front of the property. Location is good, 2 km and very cheap tuk tuk ride from the awesome Mirissa Central beach, Parrot rock and Coconut Tree Hill. Nice bathroom

There is no kitchen in the property - all food comes from one of Reveals other properties along the road which wasn’t an issue with breakfast as we pre-ordered and booked a time but it also meant the staff were unable to even give us a cup of coffee by the pool. The property itself, although immaturely clean, could do with some general upkeep - regrouting/paint around pool etc and the non-public areas were messy and disorganized. The back yard which was beneath our balcony was just full of rubbish and random items which kind of spoiled the view. Also you can’t swim at the beach outside the property as the currents/waves are unsuitable. Despite this the beach is beautiful to look at. The manager seemed friendly but told us there was a jazz bar at one of the other properties so we went along for a drink. There was no music but we felt we had to order a drink. 2 virgin mojitos cost us over £15!! All the food and drink on the menu were very very expensive. Overall we had a nice time but it definitely wasn’t 5 star and was very expensive for what it was. Would have been happy with it for £100-120 ish a night but not £270

Beautiful villa with amazing views of the beach from throughout the property and from the pool. Nice relaxed atmosphere and staff constantly cleaning so kept immaculate. Rooms beautiful with big high ceilings and great shower. Twice daily room cleaning which is also nice. Staff very hard-working and did everything they could to help. Beach long and quiet - beautiful to walk along

Poorly managed. No bar, no check in desk, No one to meet us on arrival. No drinks or food kept on property, all comes from out outside and takes 20 min +. Furniture cushions not put out until 11:00 so had to do it ourselves to use beach furniture before this. There were some problems with WiFi and AC when we arrived but these were fixed quickly. Not enough sun umbrellas. Can’t eat breakfast outside. Can’t swim in the sea due to currents (fair enough but tell us before booking).

Beautiful location. Fantastic beach. Staff members were wonderful and did their best given the lack of management or organisation within the property. Very caring staff, bringing flowers for the room and being attentive.

This was the most amazing hotel we stayed at! The hotel was a bit quiet as I believe their busy season is during Christmas but Yohan and Danushaka made our stay very very pleasant. They both went above and beyond. Yohan planned a romantic dinner on the beach and it was amazing. We will be coming back for sure! We also had a lovely Balian massage, which was super relaxing. Overall it was a 10/10 stay and a beautiful place to visit.

The place was clearly lacking staff, most of the time there was only one waiter, he was doing the best he could but, to many people for only one employee which means food took a long time services took also a bit of time. Other issue we had was 2 days in a row that we had a problem with ants in our room the staff was kind enough to move us to another hotel of the group which was much better than this one (Lantern).

The staff was really nice and helpful and the place is cozy.

Super personalised services, staff are super responsive and friendly! Super nice accoms, extremely spacious and clean. The rooms open straight to the beautiful view of the sea, it’s always good to fall asleep to the sound of waves.

The only thing that I think would need work is the temperature of the pool water, it's hot and not refreshing after you have been laying in the sun.

This is the perfect resort to relax and enjoy the beach. The staff are amazing and we felt so taken care of, especially Yowan! We arrived early morning and our room was ready and conditioned, when we woke up, they were ready to serve us breakfast and when we asked for a room upgrade they did everything in their power to make sure we were happy with our stay. The breakfast is so good and not to miss and the best part is that there's a turtle nursery right next to the hotel so everyday at sunset you can release baby turtles into the ocean which was such an amazing thing to do. Overall, we really enjoyed staying there and the vibes of the hotel, especially that there's always music playing at all times in the reception.

We had a great stay at the beach house and enjoyed using the facilities both there and at the lantern hotel. The staff were so helpful and gave us the five star treatment. We especially loved one of the staff setting up a romantic meal with us on the beach. It was a lovely touch. And Sampath who was on the house keeping team put some amazing flowers in our room. We also loved the fact they run a turtle conservation project so we got to let the baby turtles free on several occasions. Would highly recommend this accommodation and we had a wonderful stay.

Our room was adjoining with another which can feel a little uncomfortable.

Excellent service! The staff were so friendly and helpful. Yowan made our stay extra special. The romantic dinner arranged for us on the beach was lovely. Great breakfast too.
