So we loved everything about this place The only thing they that would have improved my stay would be a slightly better poolside area( although they don’t have the room) And a bar and general seating area would be nice

Basically the location which we know it’s not their fault, all Unawatuna is crowded with russians and honestly it was the worst city we visited in Sri Lanka. The beach in front is not very good, nearby restaurants are overly expensive. Also, it would be nice to be able to use the pool after 18:00h

Good room and great decoration of the villa. Also they have free tours every day (fixed time, only 1 way except Galle) which is nice. Very good breakfast.

We were made to feel so welcome, nothing was too much trouble. Sumith and his team were wonderful and the chef served a wonderful breakfast and we had the best Sri Lanka curry whilst there. The hotel is so close to the beach, towels and mats are provided. The swimming pool was perfect for us, clean and relaxing, free rides to local beaches and Galle were available and the hotel is beautiful with interesting artefacts. The highlight was to meet Sumith's family and hear his niece serenade us. THANK YOU

We enjoyed breakfast and appreciated the host's use of his jeep to drop us into Galle. The hosts could not do enough for you, with the chef preparing a special dinner for us.

I loved everything! We had a warm reception from the owner who made us feel at home. Everything was well thought to the detail. I would do it all over again. The chef was exceptional, the food was prepared with love and care. I couldn't ask for more, so happy to be in this hotel, totally recommend.

It is a small, very personal, owner-managed boutique hotel. The owner and a very large number of staff try to make the guests as comfortable as possible. There are lots of art objects of all kinds everywhere, especially sculptures. The hotel is only separated from the wide beach by a "normal" road (unfortunately also very busy at night). The breakfast is typical of the country, not European, which we found pleasant. You shouldn't expect European standards for water pressure (shower) either - but you are in a great exotic country. In any case, the luxurious individuality, the daily warm welcome of every guest and much more should be emphasized.

We were warmly welcomed by the owner family. We had 2 deluxe rooms opposite each other at front of hotel. Rooms very clean, comfortable, AC very good. Offered a snack menu on arrival, quite pricey but it’s freshly made and delicious and we needed lunch. Very attentive at all times, we had a guided tour of the gardens & pool. Extensive Breakfast selection for all tastes. Best coffee. Omelette cooked freshly as required. We popped back from the beach for a few minutes one day to pick up my mum and were immediately offered a cold drink. Lovely touch. Towels for the pool and towels & mats for the beach in a beach bag. The beach is just over the main road, we walked through another hotel restaurant on the beach and used their beds and seating as we bought drinks from them. 3 days of rest and relaxation. Thank you.

Bed is a little squeaky but that is very minor

Service was outstanding. The family running the place are so lovely and make you feel at home right away. There is a lot of thought and detail put into the customer experience. Location is great. Close to beach and easy to walk to everything. The free morning shuttle to turtle or jungle beach is a great addition. Room was clean and comfortable. Pool is nice and big and a great spot to chill out. Recommend!

Most of public spaces in the hotel was not available. You can see BBQ place on photos but it was unavailable too as well as both bars.

Maybe it because of low season but breakfast looked poor. But everything that were available was nice. Nice pool, you can use kitchen to cook some local food by yourself.

Absolutely flawless. Sumith (owner) and his staff are so so very welcoming and incredibly helpfull. They really care for their guests and go way above and beyond to please and help. A stones throw from the beech. Super clean, great air con, quality towels and bedding fabulous and plentiful breakfast. Will be returning when next in Unawatuna. Just the best. Thanks guys x Highly recommended.

Vintage cars looked to be functioning on website but not the case. Would have been a fantastic touch. Jeep and tuk tuk transport to beaches was a brilliant addition however.
