Absolutely lovely hotel and staff members! Kate and Fraser were so welcoming and checked in with us every day to give tips and help us book things. The food at the restaurant is well worth the hype and definitely make sure you book in advance. Everything at this hotel felt very homely and the attention to detail is something we really appreciated. Will be recommending this place to family and friends for years and definitely coming back soon!

I can’t stay forever🥹

For us Rise is the most beautiful place to stay in Weligama, staff is more than helpful and everytime with smiley faces,really cozy clean room with balcony and really comfy bed, location 2 minute walk to beach where you can learn to surf as beginner (i reccomend the Ride a Wave surf school they are really best and kind) Rise has also a one of best Italian restaurants i ever be in(btw iam from europe so its funny to tell😅) 11/10

Such a great stay. There's nothing quite like smelling fresh sourdough pizza and simply walking downstairs to grab some! The restaurant is amazing, the staff are lovely, the room was big and comfortable. It was super close to Weligama beach too. Great coffee with breakfast!

Rise was a great guest house, it was clean and spacious, the staff and manager were super helpful with everything we needed. The location is perfect for the beach and places to eat. The Italian restaurant was delicious and the recommendations that Kate sent were perfect to help us see the best spots in Weligama and the surrounding areas. Rise was the best place we stayed in Sri Lanka and we would recommend it to everyone!

I had such a great stay at Rise and I couldn't recommend it more. My room was so nicely decorated, the whole team welcomed me with open arms and the bed was very comfortable. The pizza downstairs is also absolutely delicious (I can highly recommend the Mimi pizza). The beach is just a couple of minutes walk away. The location is great. Looking forward to be back one day 😀

Railway tracks outside the window and a view of the warehouse. A building between a busy street and the railway tracks. Very noisy when the train is running.

This was 1 of my favorite places to stay in Sri lanka. The room was big and clean, but what truly made my stay amazing were the owners and all staff that work there. They were all so friendly and super helpfull for anything i needed. There is a italian restaraunt bellow and the pizzas are incredible, a small piece of Italy in Sri lanka. Would defo recomend to everyone looking to stay in Weligama!

Not very soundproof, the road outside is very trafficked!

The host and the staff was very friendly and helpful. There was free drinking water so you can fill your reusable water bottles! The room was cozy and located very close to the beach!

Very nice breakfast, kind and helpful owners. Very good localization just next to the surf point and bar. In the area lots of small bars with good food. Very close to the center of Weligama with all shop. The restaurant in the Rise offers very good food as well which I recommend

As others stated, it is not the most quiet accommodation, but it didn‘t bother me.

Spacious room, very nice interior, staff was super nice and helped with everything! Location just across the street from the beach, a bit outside of the center of Weligama. Would definitely recommend staying here!
