Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

Netherlands😍Located near to the Ritigala , this is a little paradise. There is also a very quiet and beautiful garden. Very close to Ritigala & Habarana. The owner and staff here are very friendly and helpful. All travel and destinations were prepared. It was very convenient for me. The room and bed are amazing. He helped arrange wonderful things like a village ride and ayurvedic massage at a reasonable price which is a never before experienced experience. They also provided their vehicle at a very low price compared to other places. It was a great comfort to me. Very delicious Sri Lankan style dinner and breakfast & we had a amezing cookery class was held by Ritigala Hideaway. It was very special to me & i really like to organic foods from their garden . Explained everything to me and helped me to save my money and safety. 100% security and value for money. It is possible to prepare anything needed. I can't forget this place. I'll be back. Visit Sri Lanka. They provide special care for foreigners. Thank you to everyone at Ritigala Hideaway Guest.

SpainI only wish I had been able to stay longer, to climb Mt Ridigala (a challenging 9 hours expedition, but no doubt well worth it) and to partake in a cookery class. Next time!
The owner very kindly made time to take me to the Ridigala Forest Monastery, and this was a highlight of my visit to Sri Lanka. The ruins of a sophisticated Buddhist monastery, set in virgin forest, are fascinating, and the environment so tranquil and beautiful. The "Hideaway" is indeed just that, set some 800m off the main road on a quiet lane, and offers comfortable accommodation and delicious, homecooked food made with organic ingredients sourced locally (in some cases direct from the garden). A very relaxing, "home from home" environment.

Ritigala Hideaway was a great find, ticking all the boxes of what makes a superb homestay. Each room has its own colour: we chose 'Turmeric', with yellow bedding. Kumara's attention to detail puts other homestays to shame. We have been to Sri Lanka 8 times, and we love local cuisine - but I don't think I've had a better dinner. They grow most of the veg themselves, and gave cookery classes before Covid - they will do again. A masterclass in running a homestay - next time I'd like a curry class!

The room was large and it was clean and comfortable.This is located to Ritigala Mountain and sigiriya , Anuradhapura ,polonnaruwa we got amezing experiences in hike Ritigala with bicycle ride, and we joined the village cooking class held by Ritigala Hideaway, it is amazing.Very quite environment.Foods is excellent and very Delicious ,organic foods and Healthy foods,very good Hospitality, we enjoyed well.We will never forget this name "Ritigala Hideaway, Thank you so much Ritigala Hideaway.
