It was the first time I went in an all inclusive hotel, for a night…I felt like I was in an airport, really tursity. Nothing to complain, it is just not for me :) But who goes for a vacation to relax, to eat unlimited and stay in a pool all day it is the perfect stay

The sea is treacherous and although guarded at times , I would stick to the pools. The entertainment was ok but I think could do with some extra things for teenagers. Had table tennis , darts and some board games but a pool table would be perfect.

Service was excellent / attentive. Cleanliness was a very high standard. The choice of food and quality in the buffet restaurant was really good, as were the bookable restaurants. All 3 pools were clean and a warm temperature. The gym was a good size. The all inclusive package we booked was great value.

Sport facilities are not enough One tennis’s ball table with damaged rackets Gym is small does not include dumbbells and the bike is damaged (seat) No capacity for extra chairs (we are 3 people with 2 chairs only) I didn’t like the live music, it is for certain age group that does not fit all demographics.

The bedroom was a little tired and the mirror was badly marked. Could have been more entertainment, when we have previously stayed at RIU hotels there is more happening during the day and evenings.

Nothing was bad but a few things could have been better for us. The specialist restaurants were a bit dissapointing as the ones we chose had pretty much the same food as the main location with one or two extras. The local beach is HUGE but perhaps a bit souless compared to other places we have seen. This didn't seem to bother most guests who didn't seem to venture out very much. For us, the hotel achieved our intention of a few quiet days but will not give you much insight into Sri Lankan life. probably best if you just want some sun, regular food and drink and to sit around a prety busy set of pools during the day.

We chose this hotel at the end of a two week tour of Sri Lanka. The huge plus was the staff who were an absolute delight!

the hotel clientel has changed alot since we came in 2020 which is a shame. Loses the charm of Sri-Lanka. Feels we were holiday in europe - probably due to being connected to Tui. Kids pool could do with an update.

Check-in process needs to be more streamlined; better property maintenance (heavy rain was causing leaks in several areas of the hotel); impersonal ambience, but this is to be expected of an all-inclusive property.

The free drinks are of a low quality and some so bad that you wont want them even though its free. there should be an option to purchase good quality drinks at a fee is desired. I would rater the property 4 star, its definitely not of a 5 star standard although it has wonderful family friendly facilities. This is a HUMONGOUS hotel, I've never seen so many thousands of people in 1 hotel before and was overwhelmed at first, it creates a hustle bustle type of environment although its a massive property, not quiet the place for peace and relaxation. However if travelling with kids its the perfect place to be

this is an all inclusive resort meaning there's breakfast,lunch and supper plus free drinks all day long. the buffets has an unimaginable amount of food, everything and anything that you can think of is available. What I was not comfortable was late night show n the ambience like a European country but it's solely my opinion as others might enjoy it.

Beach is too beautiful and clean n food is perfect for kids, even kids pool is super,it was the reason I opted for this hotel plus the ocean view from our room was mind blowing overall perfect place to relax.

The staff at the pool bar. A huge disapointment. Not interested in giving service to someone who don't shout out and wave with arms to get attention. After trying three times at different ocassions to order from the pool bar I gave up. Other guests coming after me got help but staff totally ignored me. I will NOT recommend the pool bar if you want good service, as the other staff did know how to do.

Looking a little run down in parts. Water on stairs, paintwork on facade facing the beach. Harassment by tuk tuk drivers as you leave the hotel gates - very annoying and intimidating. Gym needs some free weights and better hours. Band Crossroads were great but they played the same songs each night…need more variation.

Location, food and staff were fantastic. Our second time staying there and loved it. Better than the first time two years ago. Nightly Entertainment was great - band and performances. Ruwan was fantastic when he hosted us in several of the restaurants dinner, lunch or breakfast sittings.

Being a 5 stars hotel the entertainment could be higher quality. Although is good and the entertainment team is very passionate. Replacing the slat shakers for salt sachets would be great. Due to the humidity all guests were fighting to bring the salt out.

Great hotel, spacious, comfortable and very clean rooms. Staff is exceptionally kind and the restaurant is great. Huge variety of dishes are offered and quality of food is very good. The end of year gala dinner was fantastic.

They have a stupid pool volleyball process. We couldn't get to use it as someone or the other is using it. And when we did find it free, the ball is not with pool staff. There is animation team that handles it. So better change process
