Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

Very quiet place by the river. Beautiful terrace. Upon arrival, the owner immediately arranged a safari in Yala Park for us, so a jeep arrived for us within a few hours. The next day, the owner took us to Tangale in his car for a reasonable price.

United KingdomThere are some improvements that really need to be made, unfortunately I feel I could not give a higher score because of these. Firstly, the white walls near the bed were really dirty with brown hand/ foot prints on them, these need to be wiped clean. Secondly, the door to the balcony had a broken glass panel, so we had to shove plastic bags in the hole in the glass to make sure we didn't get loads of mosquitos entering the room. Lastly, the bathroom door was missing the door handle on the inside. Which meant when you closed the door you would be locked inside (which happened to me when I first didn't realise and had to wait for my partner to get back to let me out!). It meant we had to keep the door open when using the toilet which means no privacy. Also a small thing was that there was no garbage bin/ trash can in the room or bathroom, so there was no where to put you garbage at all which was a little inconvenient. Overall we did have a good stay, but they definitely need to improve on these things for the future guests.
Very peaceful and tranquil place to stay right by the river. The air con was a very reasonable extra charge of only 500lkr per day as I had booked room without. The room was very spacious, bed was comfortable and we really enjoyed the balcony to sit and relax on. The host was very attentive and was able to provide meals, we are thankful that she could accommodate our vegan diet too!
