The treehouse was amazing! So beautifully crafted, loved the outdoor shower and was magical going to sleep with only the sound of nature around. The staff were so helpful and friendly, and the food was outstanding.

The accommodation is proper remote. The road to the accom is gravel, bumpy and difficult to drive over. Tiring too as it's not a short road. Make sure you have a driver or transportation previously arranged.

Staff are exceptional and really try to make the trip enjoyable. English is limited but hospitality is abundant. Pool is a nice touch after a long and hot day. Small 15x5m pool but enough. Staff cooked meals are tasty and reasonably priced. Given the remoteness of the chalet, you pretty much have no choice but to eat there as nothing else available within walking distance (in fact nothing exists within walking distance) The rooms are stacked on 3 levels in bungalow type structures. Very clean, spacious and comfortable. Some small bugs will inevitably get in however due to the tropical surroundings of the accommodation. You can hear plenty of wildlife around in the evenings which is nice, sort of like living on safari e.g., monkeys, birds, insects. Showers are outdoor ensures enclosed by a roof. They're comfortable and clean though hot water lasts around 5mins or so.

The place seems to be right in the middle of the jungle, very clean and looks exactly like what we see in the pictures. The staff is amazing, we had multiple teething issues (we struggled to locate it when we reached as the number given on Booking.com was not of the right person, had to call booking.com support after circling around the property for more than an hour to seek help, the fact the google maps also was not able to locate compounded to our problems) but the staff more than compensated for that by their excellent attitude and additional facilities free of charge.

Optimal to have a vehicle/transport/tuk tuk to get to restaurants

A beautiful stay in a picturesque small family run hotel. Lovely rooms, accomodating staff, beautiful surroundings and nice pool with a view of Sigiriya and Pidurangala rocks.

The pool was not so well maintained, the water was a bit dirty. There is nothing around the pool, so it gets very hot.

The room was very big and clean. It has a very nice view at both Pidurangala Rock and Lion Rock. The staff was friendly and helpful, we had dinner at there and the food was tasty. It is relatively close to both rocks, aprox. 15-20 minutes by tuktuk.

The Wi-Fi in our room was non-functional.

Our time in Sigiriya was marked by outstanding service and warmth. We expressed a desire for Jack Fruit Curry for dinner, a dish we'd never tried before. Even though Jackfruit was out of season, the owner prompted to go above and beyond, searching throughout the city after work to create a remarkable and one of the best curries we've had in Sri Lanka. The breakfast was also delightful. The breakfast was also delightful. It's worth noting that the shower and toilet are outdoor facilities, so it's advisable to bring toiletries back to the room after use. The room's beautiful decor and a remarkably comfortable bed made our stay enjoyable. We highly recommend this accommodation for a memorable stay in Sigiriya.

There was a small gap at the bottom of the door to our room which was not ideal for a jungle however the staff were very apologetic and I'm sure they'll fix it

Beautiful setting in the jungle with a view of the rocks and a lovely pool. Staff were very friendly and made us a delicious kottu which they brought to the room.

Rooms were very clean, modern and spacious. Cool outdoor bathroom! Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was basic and outdoor space was a little unkept but given price it was amazing value for money and I would stay again. As good as other places we stayed in Sri Lanka which were more than double the price.

We had a great stay here! The accommodation was beautiful with a wonderful view on the Lion Rock. The room was fantastic and original and the staff was so friendly. We also had dinner here and the food and service was great. We are only positive and we can recommend this hotel to everyone. It is a perfect place!

The staff was very friendly and took care about all our wishes. They cooked a very good dinner for us. We got the best breakfast and felt like home. The place ist really outstanding and a perfect stay if you do a morning hike to Pidurangala Rock or Lion Rock

It was far out of town (which is exactly what some people want). You couldn’t walk out to have a wander as it’s quite remote so you need to organise a lift each time. Also will note: the accommodation is located right in the untouched jungle with lots of nature so you may encounter bugs.

The treehouse is so cool! Big room, the outdoor bathroom is really nice and everything was clean. There was peacock walking across the grounds in the morning with the staff saying sometimes elephants show up! The staff were so friendly and kind and booked an early tuktuk for us to make it to Sigiriya rock for sunrise. The dinner and breakfast was delicious and it wasn’t expensive at all.

Expensive if you compared it with other options in Sri Lanka. Few menu options. You are sleeping in the nature in a wood house so during the night you can listen different animals and strange sounds. For us was not a problem, but if you are not used to it can be uncomfortable.

Amazing tree house near Sigiriya Rock and Piludangara hike. Nice views in the middle of the nature.
