The road into the property is not great - our poor driver nearly wrecked his car .. the craters on the road need to be fixed and maintained better.

Everything from the size and cleanliness of the accommodation to the quality of food at the restaurant and the pool beautiful area . We also had to add a guest (as our daughter surprised us and appeared from Australia ) and they were very welcoming and accommodating to the extra person last minute. Lovely quiet spot .

-Such a beautiful property in the middle of astonishing nature, with all modern facilities. Just a few minutes away from Sigiriya and Pidurangala Rocks. - large, very clean and confortable rooms, with garden view. So quiet, all you hear is nature: birds, squirrels, gecko. By the way: we had no problems with mosquitos, i did not find any. - very good food. Just so you know you have to preorder breakfast because it takes a while to prepar. Same of lunch/dinner - staff very friendly and helpfull - we had 3 rooms booked and they checked and allowed us to use one room after checkout time (so we can shower after climbing Sigiriya on last day) - confortable pillows, very clean towels and sheets - they have a viewing deck, to Pidurangala, where we went for sunrise. One upstairs room had that view from balcony - having just a few rooms was also amazing, at one point we were the only guests.

It is a little difficult to reach the property and the Google Maps location isn't correct. This should be easy to amend by the management and would simplify things for everyone. Other than this, no complaints whatsoever - this property truly is phenomenal.

This place is a gem! Lovely setting, peaceful and immersed in Sigiriya's nature. The staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms are beautiful and the view from the balconies is really unique. The price is a little high, but considering the location and the facilities, we found this to be 100% justified. If you're lucky, wild elephants might be spotted at night not far from the hotel! Food at the restaurant was good too, which is a plus considering there aren't many options to dine out around Sigiriya's rock.

Price of the food were a bit expensive compared to hotels at similar price range; location is not on the main road so was a bit hard to look for our driver

Overall the place is quite nice ; with a huge and spacious room and with our balcony overlooking sigriya directly. The shower is very clean too. Food were very good especially the breakfast, where we tried both English and Sri Lankan breakfast - very nice ! There’s a nice swimming pool too however we did not get to try.

Nothing, of you like nature with a beautiful view

This Boutique Hotel with only 6 rooms in nature is Perfect for relaxing and nice to do some hikings Or discover the villages by bycicle. The Pool is a really beautiful place in the afternoon After the Daily activities. The juices were amazing. The view from the Upper rooms is gorgeous- you See Booth Rocks! Also to mention is the extraordinary nice, friendly and helpfully staff during our whole Stay (f.e. Train Tickets from kandy…) We really enjoyed it in your Hotel and would have stayed more Nights! Thanks for this great experience!

It is a remote area, so WiFi sometimes was a bit slow, or had some disconnects, but nothing too disruptive (same with our cellular data here, so not really the fault of the accomodation, it is just what you can expect in such a remote place).

Great a attention to detail with the offered amenities. Excellent Sri Lankan style breakfast was provided (continental style is also offered for those that want it, but we only had Sri Lankan as it was a great experience), and I loved the fact that it was not completely the same each morning, so we had some variety to taste. Unique to our whole stay in Sri Lanka, they had filtered, drinkable tap water with a nice neautral, clean taste - so very convenient! The AC was quiet, not distrubing our sleep, but efficient. There were 2 international plugs on each sides of the bed, so we did not have to bother with converters for our EU prongs. Wardrobe had task lightning. Toiletries included not only shampoo, shower gel and lotion, but also hair conditioner (most other hotels don't provide this by default in the country, and my hair appreciated the addition). Pool not very deep, but adequate still and kept crystal clear throughout our stay. Staff was fantatic, they helped us arrange drivers, tuk tuks, gave great advice about what time is best for each activity, how long it would take, and generally helped us finetune our inventory with spot on recommendations suited to our taste.

In the restaurant , the staff were very friendly & helpful but sometimes due to poor understanding of English we often received different dishes than we ordered. However we loved our stay & would hope to return one day.

Large spacious clean room with amazing view of Sigiriya rock. Recommend booking a superior room which is on the top floor to get the views. Worth the extra . Very peaceful location with helpful staff & good pool . Bar & restaurant on site serving food & drinks all day & evening .

Nothing - although we got eaten alive, don’t forget bug spray!

Honestly - Roomansala exceeded all expectations. We only stayed a couple of days to climb Pidurangala Rock, and Heritance Kandalama would have been our first choice, but we’re so SO glad they were fully booked. The service and food was 10/10 - dinner was truly incredible, don’t bother heading into town, we had a very average lunch at the no.1 place on TripAdvisor. Would highly recommend. They gave us one of the rooms on the first floor and it had a simply stunning view - would definitely request one of these if you can!

This luxury boutique hotel, located in a serene natural environment is focused on the personal touch. From arrival to departure, the staff are attentive to your needs without being intrusive. The rooms are decorated exquisitely and if you book the rooms at the top you will have a divine view of Sigiria and its sister. The menu has many options to choose from and every meal is beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. The bartender deserves special mention for creating custom made cocktails that were a masterpiece! During the night you should expect to hear many sounds of the natural world including animals, birds and other activities connected with the local farmers. Choose this place if you want to enjoy a serene location with the best attention to service you could ask for. We sincerely hope to return here in two years time and meet with the staff who made our stay so soon. Thanks to you all.

We were unlucky with the weather as it rained a lot during our stay and as a result had to deal with wet clothes. Having a dedicated space to hang wet garments to dry would be great as I felt bad draping our stuff over the lovely furniture.

Excellent location - you can walk up lions rock from the hotel. The rooms were beautiful, spacious and clean. The pool area and garden was also stunning. The food was incredible and very reasonably priced. The staff were so friendly and accommodating.

The hotel was amazing! The service exceed our expectations and the room as well was fantastic. The breakfast was excellent and the food very tasting! My friend received the best attention from the f&b department with an incredible sri lanka breakfast. The rambutan as well! 🙏❤️
