A big party one night with loud music until 4 am.

Spacious rooms with fridge, tea and coffee facilities and water supplied daily. Loved seeing the monkeys and wildlife around the hotel. Big thank you to Natasha for being so helpful and kind.

Shower flooded in 1 out of the 2 bungalows. Rectified when reported, however very uncomfortable and inconvenient at the time. Very nice and professional female manager. Very polite and helpful staff members.

The AC worked only on blast and it was the loudest thing ever.

The international breakfast was very basic, not a buffet either. The waiters know a little English.

Natasha, the receptionist lady was very helpful, speaks English very well. She answered all the questions and arranged a taxi to take us to Kandy, a tuk tuk for daily usage, and an Elephant jeep safari for us. The rooms are huge. They have generator in case the power cut. Hot water is really hot (nearly boiling). There is an AC and fan in the room. They close the main gate so, no monkeys or elephants are in the garden.

Quite location away but not too far from the centre...liked the colonial style room which was spacious and comfortable.. tasty buffet and helpful staff. Special thank you for Natasha at front desk for sorting out my booking which was Incorrect 😔

Bath tub needed a little TLC but nothing to complain about really!

AMAZING dinner, very helpful and kind staff. Gave us tea whilst we sheltered from the rain after we checked out, and the manager of the hotel was lovely and incredibly helpful with helping us to book. Very quiet and large bedroom.

Room was very hot on arrival and the fridge wasn’t cold Air con worked but was really noisy and doesn’t get super cold. The key number didn’t match the room number Pool was dirty when we arrived but was vacuumed the next day. Bathroom toiletries are the refill variety which is great but product hard to get out from bottles. No pool towels supplied Only 1 pillow & 1 bath towel supplied per person (staff more than happy to supply more when asked though) WIFI in rooms is absolutely hopeless. Drops in & out constantly Fan extractor in bathroom doesn’t work Limited Power outlet plugs so bring a power board with your Lankan adaptor plug. Rooms weren’t cleaned nor beds made on our second day. No phone to call the front desk to ask for the ice, extra towels, pillows, luggage trolley etc Nothing a few little walks couldn’t sort out though, but we did feel like we were going back and forth.

Clean & fresh. No bad smells Staff were all lovely and tried so hard to please us. Ordered a Sri Lankan omelette & fries in the large restaurant which were great. Food served quickly… but we were the only guests. Supplied 2 bottles of water on 1st day but not on the 2nd day. Ceiling fan is quite Our room had a nice outlook over the pool area and garden Water pressure & temp are ok The rooms are large and spacious Nice enclosed terrace in front of the rooms with table and chairs Great quiet location. Only a short drive into the village for a meal or drinks and only 10 min drive to Lion Rock.

Facilities need a bit of renovation. AC did not work well. Wash basin drain was closed and could not open.

Staff , ambience , detailing in room and food . We are newly married couple when we visited the place staff was so conscious they decorated the room for us without even asking . The water preassure could be improved. Continental breakfast is not a great quality- i would suggest the restaurant sticking with Sri Lankan cusine. The bar looks great but unfortunately not open. Adding bikes for guests to use would be a very big plus for this place, since rides are hard to find around here and extremely overpriced. Although not far from places, walking is really not pleasant due to so many dogs and monkeys. With bikes you could get everywhere within 5-10 minutes.

The place is beautiful. The room is really big and comfortable. It looks relly nice the way the entry way is separated from the pool area- unfortunately we had no chance to use the pool due to our packed day programs, but it was very clean and inviting. The staff is extremely kind and helpful. The restaurant is quite good at preparring local meals.
