You can see Lion Rock from the lovely hotel pool. The staff were really friendly, especially the manager, Sanath, who drove us to Nuwara Eliya. The cheapest beer I had in 3 weeks in Sri Lanka and the only hotel that did not charge the annoying 10% 'service charge'. Would highly recommend.

There was nothing we did not like, they have their own TukTuk which made going into town a breeze.

The view of Lion Rock from the room balcony is breathtaking. The rooms are very modern comfortable and super clean. All I can say about the staff is WOW, they are incredibly accommodating, warm and caring, we asked if they had King coconuts and they had one of their staff climb a tree and bring enough down to serve all of the guests swimming in the pool.

A bit far away from the main road, but still ok. There were no black out curtains, so there is a lot of light in the room in the morning. However, this is not unusual in Sri Lanka..

Everything you need. Spacious room, nice pool. Very friendly staff. They arrange trips and reserved two seats on a shuttle to our next stop Kandy.

The hotel was in a great location if you're looking to go to Lion's Rock (it's a short walk which we did first thing in the morning to make it up for sunrise), also with great views out of your bedroom window. But the best thing about our stay was the staff, everyone was really friendly and attentive. In particular, Sanath went above and beyond to support us, always with kindness and a smile on his face.

I had a wonderful stay at this resort.Rooms were exceptionally comfortable.The food quality exceeded my expectations.Everything is good about the place.Best part is it was located near Sigiriya and Pidurangala.Highly recommended to visit this hotel for an amazing time.

There were some cockroaches and spiders (as expected in an area with such lush vegetation), so maybe some insect nets at the windows could help with that.

Nice hotel and staff, it was clean, quiet and the bed was comfortable. A little bit far from the main road, but they offer tuktuk rides at very good prices, so we had no issues with that. The manager arranged for us the safari (with hotel pickup and dropoff) and all the other requests, much appreciated it. Thank you for everything!

Nice hotel in quiet location. Comfortable room. Great swimming pool. Friendly staff. Decent food. Staff kindly decorated room for my birthday which was nice. Scooter rental was good at 2,500 per day however one of the helmets was in poor condition. We would stay again.

This hotel was one of the best experiences we have had. The location with the uninterrupted view of the Sigiriya Rock along with the walk from the main road (10 mins) added to the pleasure, passing the local housing nestled in beautiful lush trees. But the outstanding bonus was the staff at this hotel. Every member of staff were polite, friendly and genuinely concerned for their guests well being. The restaurant provides excellent food cooked by a enthusiastic chef who always comes to chat to you while the serving staff always at hand to ensure you are happy with your meal. Thankyou. Any request is catered for. We were assisted several times with transport to local sights at very reasonable rates. The hotel also arranged for a Tuk tuk to take us to Dambulla. Sanka the driver went over and beyond stopping off at the huge Dambulla produce market and a herb and spice garden. Further reasonably priced taxis transport with extra scenic stops to Kandy were also arranged. Nothing was too much bother.

Sometimes we had issues with wifi connection, but 90% of time it works well. And a bit more insects if compare with Unawaruna (is not their issue haha)

We arrived at 19:00 and found that the hotel exactly same as on photos (yeah, in some hotels it doesnt work like this 😀) Delicious dinner and breakfast exactly as we expect. We had choice of 3 different cousins. Also they gift flowers for girls because of International Women’s Day, 10/10 (lotuses from beautiful own garden). Best view on Sigiriya mountain, morning view 11/10. Also they have wonderful rotveiler dog Roxxie 🐶 Clean room, wifi 8/10, required stuff exists
