Nothing was too much trouble, home from home, felt we were part of the family, great room with large balcony which was ideal as we had 48 hours of tropical rain. Home cooked food was excellent and we liked the fact that you gave whatvyou thought the service and food was worth!!

All the extras other than accommodation were in donation basis, which we have learned only at the check out. We assume, that’s also why the owner was at times a little too pushy with ideas for excursions and events - he probably gets commission. We’d rather pay a fair price for services rendered, than being leveraged into „events“ we’re not interested in. We would rather take a fee for an honest travel consultation than pushing the offer that yields the most. commission.

The meals ( breakfast and dinner) were amazing. The hospitality of the family authentic and heartfelt. The house itself is really nice and it feels like an actual homestay, not a hotel. Family friendly - we travelled with a 16 month old baby and we recommend this home stay for traveling with kids. The owner goes all out in providing you with tuktuk rides and excursion ideas. Great value for the price. Important note: The family offers amazing authentic Sri Lankan home cooked dinners. Made and served with love. It is all however donation based so please be respectful towards the family and offer a fair donation.

Great host, great location, great breakfast, lovely family. completely suitable for travelers with kids. We definitely recommend the place. Don’ forget to ask them help you for Safari to Minneriya National Park. We went there and it was so easy and much cheaper to arrange.

The owner Jagath Malli is super friendly..he goes beyond your expectations and ensures you have the best stay at his place..he was kind enough to pick n drop in his colorful tuk tuk and he also lent his bike for us..he helped us reserve seats on the bus to our next destination..he is jovial, makes you feel super comfortable at the stay..very kind hearted man..!! And so the stay as well..very neatly maintained!! A must stay place in Dambulla!!

It was an amazing experience.The owner and his family were so helpful and they are like family. Room was so big which is enough for the families. Breakfast time is according to you. We were so welcome by the owner on his family , the food was excellent .. the rooms , bathroom were spacious. clean ..so nice, quiete ... very pleasant garden to have a drink ... He organised our tours to Dambulla cave, Polonnaruwa,SigirIya. Kandy,Minnerya Park and our taxi to go to Wilpattu national Park It exceeded our expectations.We strongly recommend this place . We could not be wrong with the price,quality/price / service ..Top .

We loved everything <3

The most amazing stay we’ve ever had on our many travels!!! Location was perfect, right in between Dambulla and Sigirya, so all attractions were really close but we were still away enough from all the tourist fuss, in a true local Sri Lankan neighborhood with beautiful nature, where we could calmly drink our tea and watch beautiful Sri Lankan hornbills. Room was super comfortable, nice and clean, and the balcony was perfect for chilling. Breakfast knock us of our feet!!! Best one we ever had! We told them we are vegans and they were happy to adjust everything to our diet and we got this amazing and delicious breakfast every single morning of out stay. We have also rented a scooter here and got some great recommendations for our day trips. We know we sound like we are in love with this place, but that’s because we really are! (: Jagath and his family are the most wonderful hosts, and we will forever recommend this place with all our heart!

The house is located in a small village nearby Dambulla, a Small beautiful garden which is perfect for relaxing and enjoying nature. The hosts are wonderful and his wife makes delicious breakfast and dinner! Breakfast always included fresh fruit and different Sri Lankan specialties every morning! The hosts are extremely helpful, have great tips for exploring the area, and never get tired of answering questions about the Sri Lankan traditions and culture. The host also offers Safaris in the nearby national park. We went on a great Safari with him and got to see many elephants and more wild animal

In this place you are the most important for the host. He arranged all things for us. He planned our stay to have the best experience of Sigiriya and Dambulla, scooter rental, massage. We can even look at how his wife cooked our dinner. It was beyond my expectations! Perfect place, very clean room and really tasty and healthy food. Very beautiful surroundings and garden in that place. Photos cannot tell the true beauty of this place.
