Location perfect, in between the top road with its bars & Restaurants and the beach with its bars/restaurants but with none of the noise !!, Super clean and friendly family hosts . Great Ac and fan, plentiful hot water. Fabulous mosquito nets on the beds and the bed was super comfy

We had a lovely stay at sakura calm rest :) the room was spacious and clean, so was the bathroom. The balcony is nice to relax and the AC worked perfectly well on those hot afternoons. We especially enjoyed having a fully equipped kitchen to make our own fruitjuice. The host was super friendly and helpful. The beach is approx 5 minutes by foot and theres cafe around the corner with good coffee and smoothiebowls.

There wasn’t much I disliked!

The hotel was very comfortable and clean, with all new amenities. The beds were very comfortable and had mosquito nets. Bathroom modern and clean. The balcony had table and chairs. There is a shared kitchen where you can prepare food and use the refrigerator. The area was a little walk to the beach but made it very quiet and calm. The owners were very friendly and it was our favourite stay in Sri Lanka.

We were satisfied with this accomodation, good value for money. Rooms and bathrooms were spacious and clean, location is near the beach and also to the main street with shops and restaurants. Breakfast was very delicious and also great portions. Family that runs this accomodation was very kind and helpful. They also prepared us take away breakfast early morning, because we were leaving to the airport. We would stay there again.

Sakura Calm Rest was the best accommodation during my entire month in Sri Lanka. I loved the place so much that I was there for 18 days! My room was immaculate and came with a comfortable bed, expansive mosquito net, desk and chair, clothes rack, mirror, AC, ceiling fan, side table, and a balcony with another table and chair. The bathroom was brand new, the high-speed WiFi worked perfectly, and it was tranquil at night due to being on a quiet side street. I also took advantage of the speedy in-house laundry service, and my room was cleaned twice a week with new towels and sheets. The property is a 5-minute walk from Mirissa Beach and 2 minutes from the main road, with the bus stop in either direction right next door. As a solo female traveller, I felt very safe throughout my stay, thanks to the incredibly kind owners who looked after me. Highly recommend!

Worth the price. Enough and complete to stay for a night. We had a little problem with the Air cond in one of the rooms which the owners are now aware but they were available to find a solution for us. In addition they provided us breakfast at an earlier than normal time. They were very kind with us. I recommend this place.

Hard to communicate with the staff, the mother speaks a bit English but the grandmothers barely understand any English. Water pressure in the shower was very low. Could use a safebox.

Nice clean room. Good wifi, comfy bed, no bugs. Refrigerator, good AC and a fan. Mosquito net which we did not use.

A very nice and quiet place in a great location, walking distance to the seaside and the town center. The room was very clean, with a big and comfortable bed. The room has a small balcony, as well. An equiped kitchen is also available if you want to prepare your meals. Highly recommended!

The place is incredibly clean! The bathroom has a good shower with solid water pressure. The bed was comfortable. The balcony was small, but good enough to do some work on a laptop (there was even an electric socket there). I’d say this place is perfect for a digital nomad, quiet, comfortable and close to the beach. You can also watch the sunset from the rooftop. I’d happily come back when in Mirissa.

We had a great stay at Sakura. The room was spacious, clean, and so comfy. The location was great and just a short walk from the beach and a 10 min walk to all the restaurants. The shower worked well and had hot water too. Would definitely stay here again.

Everything was perfect!

It was the best accommodation from Sri Lanka, which I had, at the same price. The room is very clean and new. I have stayed 10 days there and the lady cleaned my room every 3 days. The breakfast is tasty and diverse ! The owner, Ishaka, is very welcomed and helpful! It's 5 min from the Coral Beach and 10 min from Central Street! I highly recommend this accommodation!
