We were meant to have breakfast included in the price but this couldn’t be accommodated for 7:30/8am as we had wished - we were told this was too early.

We have been travelling around the world for 4 months and this family was the most friendly of all. We were offered tea or coffee each time they saw us, gave a lovely breakfast, was interested in conversing with us, constantly asking if we needed help with anything and the whole family always had smiles of their faces. They even offered us a tuk tuk to the bus stop and gave us mangos from their tree. The amount of effort they put into treating us like royalty for only one night’s stay and a very low price needs to be highlighted. The room was clean and had everything you need including air con and mosquito net. The family were also aware of our arrival time and prepared the air con for us after we had been in constant heat. Conveniently located with little to no noise, and close to main road (2 min walk) and beach (5-10 min walk). Would easily stay here again without question.

I liked my stay in the Homestay very much. The family was extremely nice, especially Netuki, who spoke English very well. They even invited me for dinner one evening. I got a big plate of fresh tuna with rice and jackfruit. It was so delicious. The location was also good, not far from beautiful Mirissa Beach. On the main road there are lots of shops and restaurants.

Nothing about the property. Mirissa can be a bit touristy (expensive and busy). We recommend to take a 15 minute drive to Midigama beach if you prefer somewhere more peaceful and relaxed.

Everything. Large, clean room with strong AC. Great location, 15 minute walk away from the beach and all the restaurants in Mirissa, but still quiet at night. Staff were very generous and hospitable. Offered tea/coffee and homemade snacks upon arrival. Breakfast was included in the price, and was varied with each day was a different dish. Hosts were attentive, offering advice, laundry services, and any extras we needed. If we were to return to Mirissa, we would stay here again!

Such a nice family and a perfect homestay! We really enjoyed our stay. It's perfectly located, more or less everything is in walking distance but still a quite place. There's everything you need and it's very clean. Breakfast ist also very tasty. We also got to spend a little time with the family and really loved that, they are so lovely! We can really recommend staying here and would love to come back one day - thanks for having us!

The location isn’t perfect, you need to walk about 15 minutes to the beach but that isn’t really a problem.

A lovely clean room, nice bed and bathroom with warm water. The owners are very friendly and helpful. We booked a whale watching tour through them which was great and at a good price. We had a lovely breakfast. You should note that the guesthouse is close to the fishing harbour in an area of small streets among the locals more than the hotels in town. It is very quiet in the evening and night (which I liked) but quite a walking distance to the beach. Absolutely value for money.

Giving such a high score mainly for the hosts, they couldn’t have done more for us by giving us oil for our mosquito bites, offering free lifts to the beach, giving me extra pancakes after breakfast ect! Damith and his family have a very nice place. We stayed briefly for just one night, but would’ve loved to stay longer. The hosts are very warm and welcoming and will make 100% sure you have the best stay possible. Rooms are clean, simple and comfortable including great A/C. The location is great, close to the main beaches of Mirissa. Damith prepared fresh Tuna for us that he caught that same morning, which was delicious!
