One should know that Savenrose is located directly next to the Doctor's House, a location where party's take place on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Saturdays is live music and didn't bother me with earplugs, Wednesdays are Dj-nights though and supposedly the bass will also go through earplugs. Both party stop at 12:30 though - so if you join the party or anyways go to sleep late, you'll have a peaceful sleep.

Beautiful, spacious and clean room, with the kindest and most helpful manager, Gopi. Good location to see turtles hatching and if you are lucky (I was) also see them laying eggs. You're provided beach towels and I really felt at home, mainly because of Gopi's hospitality but also because of the really comfortable and well equipped room. The room has a comfortable bed, AC, a writing desk, a wardrobe, a clothes rack, a fridge and chairs on the balcony.

Amazing stay at the Savenrose Villa! Bright spacious room with huge balcony and sea view. Overall great value and location. Rooms are cleaned regularly, all needed amenities are there, the host even provided w a fridge for our stay. The host is super accommodating and helpful. Everything was great.

The room is big, clean and newly made, at least it looks like it. The hotel stuff is amazing friendly and extremely helpful with anything. In particular the Manager Gobi is the best person which we made in Sri Lanka, helpful with any kind of question, very fair and friendly. We cannot say enough thank you to him. Besides the tuktuk drivers for the hotel are also amazing the first time in Sri Lanka since 2 weeks we had trustworthy driver. Full recommendation for the place.

Our host warned us that there was a party nextdoor on Wednesday night but the noise wasn't very loud and didn't bother us.

This spacious hotel is across a quiet road from a rocky shoreline with small beaches interspersed. It's a lively area filled with guesthouses and restaurants but feels relaxed. Our room was very big and well equipped with a comfortable bed, balcony and warm shower. It was cleaned during our 3 night stay. Beach towels and a snorkel and mask were borrowed free. The staff were welcoming and friendly. Our host was happy to share his knowledge of getting around Sri Lanka and was keen to meet our needs.

It’s not something I didn’t like just something to mention, Wednesday and Saturday there is a party next door at dr house so it’s kind of noisy, but it didn’t bother me, I felll asleep no problem both days.

Amazing location, waking up looking at the ocean. Clean and big rooms, always hot water. Good for its value. Host Gopi was amazing and always there if you need anything. Honestly from all of the places we stayed in Sri Lanka it was the one that felt most homey and worth it.

Excellent location. Just over the road from a place you can snorkel. It’s also next to the Doctor’s House (an iconic place to enjoy some good food and drinks), but we didn’t get any noise. Host was very friendly and accommodating - they organised a whale watching tour on request (and were very honest about it - they waited to confirm whales were in the area before recommending), and got up early to arrange our transport a bit before 6am. The also allowed us to check out late given the time back from the tour. Very comfortable rooms - top floor has sea view, and some of the warmest showers we had in Sri Lanka. The rooms get loud on Wednesdays and Saturdays because it’s right next to the doctors house. Not much they can do about it but be aware this happens

The staff are great, always super friendly, making jokes and giving great advice. The location looks right out over the ocean and it’s a short walk to the local surf spots. Comfy bed and a amazing shower which always has pressure and hot water

Location: top top top Clean: everything was glowing. They clean the room daily and this is something special here in Sri Lanka. Host: We have seen the world and experienced both 4seasons and guest houses, but this host is amazing. They are like angels: right there when you need something. GZ! Entertainment: the location is just next to Doctor's House which is the most famous restaurant in the area. Conclusion: we initially booked 7 days, and after checking the rest of the accommodations, we decided to cancel and come back here. Security: full secured inside the location. Parking: Yes Facilities: huge bad, AC, minibar, hot water all the day, breakfast, big garden, big rooms. PS: at the second floor they have an amazing huge covered terrace from where you can admire the sunset or the sea when is raining.

This is a great location. Next to the restaurants, in front of the best snorkeling spot and far away from a lot of the chaos around the beach. Gopi is a gem and does everything he can to make your stay pleasant. He even got the cook to wake up early and make me sambol before my trip :). The hotel is humble and nice. It is quite when it needs to be ans provides access to the music when wanted.

We loved this place. Especialy for how kind and caring manager was. Provided us laundry, ironing, coffee and snorkelling equipment. The room was very nice and spacious, with a view to sea from the balcony. You can always hear the waves. The hotel is next door to Doctor House place, so very convenient to get back after party or dinner. Also all street is very nice, there is a lot of spots to eat or drink beer in the evening. Across the road there is nice small beach with transparent water, where in the mornings you can go snorkeling and see turtles or fishes. Which we did and enjoyed. We want to say big thank you for the manager who is from Ella city, just dont remember the name :)

My daughter and I truly enjoyed our stay here Terrific beach front location (with turtle eggs safe point right in front!) and many restaurants nearby Large rooms with spacious balcony (we had a sea view) and super clean with AC, fan, and mosquito netting. Very comfy and really good value Gopi, the proprietor and staff are so very pleasant and enormously helpful with everything. We especially enjoyed outstanding transportation services to the various surfpoints we wanted to try. Super! It was a really good experience and will definitely come back
