Cons Charged for a can of water more than MRP We paid for the dinner but we didn't receive the remaining balance from the restaurant person But it's okay. It's a small amount, but genuineness matters.

Pros A good spot to spend your vacation. The receptionist is friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean, beds are comfortable. Neat and clean toilet. A good view from the room. They have arranged for a river safari in bentota which we completely enjoyed. Good service from Mr.Jabba.

The staff could be better in terms of their service and hospitality. We noted them passing comments in their native language during dinner and making fun on the first night.

The full board evening food was not as good as you expect right on the sea front.

Amazing location right on the beach. Wonderful staff on all areas especially with the warmest welcome ever. Facilities were perfect for what we wanted. There was a restaurant, bar and massage centre all on site.

The room was very spacious and we like that it's quiet even though the resort was beside the road. The staff are also very friendly. The resort was very family friendly too. The beach area was kept clean.

It’s near the main road so you’ll hear some noise once in a while.

Long wainting time for checkin, many ants in the garden and unfortunately we had them also in our hotel room. Beach was dirty and because of a red flag it was said swimming not allowed.

Nice property with a well maintained garden , nice pool overlooking the ocean, very clean and good food . We will surely come to same place again if we come back . Personally I find it more intimate than Bentota beach which is about 10 minutes drive away

It would have been nice if a cotton blanket or some form of extra warmth had been available in the room. Only a minor issue and I am sure that had I asked, something would have been provided. The air-conditioning unit in our room was not working properly, but it did not cause us any inconvenience as the fan alone was effective. The beach by the hotel is not suitable for swimming as it shelves steeply and the breaking waves are fierce.

We had a spacious room with a comfortable king-size bed and good-sized bathroom with walk-in shower and plenty of hot water, plus a separate dressing area. Breakfast and the half-board dinner were both excellent with plenty of healthy and nutritious food, with a choice of English, Continental or Sri Lankan breakfast and a choice of fish or another dish at dinner. The garden area with the pool is well-maintained with plenty of natural shade and larger than appears in the photos, the staff are friendly and efficient.

It was a bit noisey beside the road and railway track.

Beautiful place just on the beach. Staff were very friendly and the place was kept so clean. Really good food in the restaurant.

A wider choice of food for the evening meal We were on a half board option and whilst the food was very nice a wider choice of options would have been good

great location and relatively quiet as towards the end of the beach area Staff were very helpful and attentive When we left some clothing behind they arranged this to be forwarded on very promptly
