Our stay at this newly renovated hotel was truly exceptional. Asanka and his team were remarkable - incredibly kind, helpful, and attentive. They prepared delicious, homemade breakfast, lunch and dinner upon request featuring tasty local Sri Lankan dishes and refreshing cocktails. One of the standout features of the hotel was the convenience of renting scooters and bikes directly from the property, as well as easily ordering tuk-tuks. The prices for the beautiful rooms, food, and services were very reasonable. Asanka went above and beyond to customize programs according to our wishes and needs, offering a diverse range of activities. The rooms were spacious and equipped with comfortable beds, ensuring a pleasant stay. The hotel's pool and surrounding area were impeccably maintained and clean. Nestled in a perfect location for those seeking tranquility and a connection with nature, the hotel provided a serene retreat where one could truly unwind. The close proximity to animals in the natural surroundings added to the unique experience. A short scooter or tuk-tuk ride allowed us to visit the iconic Lion's Rock in just 20 minutes and access nearby restaurants within 10 minutes. Additionally, the hotel offered a convenient airport transportation service with a friendly and safe driver at very reasonable rates. Last but not least, Asanka and his team also provided valuable insights on must-see sites and enriched our knowledge of Sigiriya and the surrounding nature area. In conclusion, our stay was nothing short of incredible, and I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to all travelers.

We would like to thank the accommodation for the excellent reception. Everything we agreed on actually happened. The pool is clean and the sunbeds are sufficient. The breakfast was excellent. The only minus is the distance from the center (approx. 2 km). It was no problem for the staff to take us away. MANY THANKS AGAIN, WE LOVED YOUR STAY.

There is a very bad smell of insect repellents inside the rooms. Also, due to the a bit secluded location (which we liked!), there is not many food options in near proximity, so you need to rely on the hotel kitchen. And, sorry to say it, but it’s not good. :( Food quality and its taste is below average (even taking into account Sri Lanka standards), while drinks were just awful. Guys, please don’t try to make cocktails that you don’t know ingredients of - example of caipirinha. Instead, we would appreciate if there was a local cocktail selection, based on local ingredients, not the “western counterfeit”.

Nice pool and very friendly staff! Views from the upper floors, including bar terrace, are marvelous. If you don’t like to use AC all the time, some rooms are equipped with the fan which does the job good. 👍🏻

Although it was clean, there were a few stains on the walls. Overall, this was easily ignored for great location and helpful staff!

Little bit further out of town, but worth it for the view on the roof top terrace!!! Nice comfortable room. Asanka was very helpful and organised tuk tuk rides for us (even at 5am) and a safari - not that sure how the prices compared locally but it seemed very reasonable and excellent stress free services. Pool was great - large size and shady or sunny spots for relaxing.

The resort is very well located, in the middle of vegetation and with a direct view to the Lion Rock. The overall accommodation is really nice, and the manager and the staff were really welcoming and helpful on our day trips planning. We would definitely come back to Sierra View Resort.

It’s a newly built hotel the rooms were lovely, clean, cool. The beds were comfortable. The pool was lovely had sun beds round the pool. It was very quiet and peaceful ☺️ I’d recommend to anyone and would definitely stay there again. The staff were lovely and welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was good.

There were ants in the bathroom, but they disappeared after like 10 minutes. No ammenities in the bathroom. Strong incense scent

We liked our stay at Sigiri Sierra View Resort. The room was spacious, the bathroom also. View ist great, specially from the top floor. The pool was clean, and had offered a nice refresh after a long day. Breakfast was good with toast, eggs, butter, jam, fruits and coffee. The extra smoothie was very tastefull. The locations was ok for us because we had a driver. There is a option to rent a bike also.

Awesome. Staff is very supportive. Newly build hotel with all the facilities. Highlighting feature is the swimming pool with unlimited access. The view is mind blowing from the restaurant.Sri Lankan meals were very delicious.

The room that we have booked turned out to be the old ones ( very humid), so we had to pay a small additional charge for an upgrade. New rooms are much better, clean, less humidity and with air conditioner.

The place is beautiful, close to the main turistic spots but away from the crowd. You have breakfast with views on the lion rock. The people are so nice, they prepared the breakfast for us at 5.30 am so we were able to see the sunrise from the lion rock.
