Our stay at Sigiri Enaya really set the standard for our trip in Sri Lanka. Chathuri and her family did so much to make our stay amazing - her brother picked us up from the airport, her husband Gayan took us on a brilliant safari, and they gave lots of suggestions for great things to do. The cottage was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was delicious, plentiful and varied across the 4 days we stayed. We would strongly recommend staying here!

Really, nothing to complain!

Absolutely lovely place. Very clean cottage & bathroom, the place is still pretty new, opened a couple of months ago. Chathuri and her husband Gayan are the most sympathic people we met in Sri Lanka. They helped us with everything we asked for, including delicious homemade food. All that for an absolutely fair price. We got to meet the parents of Chathuri as well who are also heartwarming. When the family harvested coconuts we were offered to try one which was also an unique experience to eat freshly from the tree. You can walk a couple of minutes to the Main Street of Sigiriya where you can find all the shops you need. If you need a driver, Chathuri is also there to support. Lion Rock and Pidurangala are an easy 10-15min TukTuk drive away. Gayan offers a Jeep Safari as well, which sounded pretty good but we had to leave so unfortunately were not able to try it. All in all, we had a very pleasant stay and would recommend this place and people to everyone visiting Sigiriya! Greetings to Chathuri, Gayan and their family!

Chathuri & her beautiful family have the most gorgeous accommodation. Everything was so clean, beautifully decorated & she went above and beyond & truly made our short stay in Sigiriya exceptional. She surprised my friend with balloons & fairy lights & a birthday drink on arrival. Truly made our day. Our breakfast was some of the most delicious Sri Lankan food we have eaten in our time here. Chathuri was so helpful in organising a TukTuk for hikes, organising transport onwards & generally pointing us in the right direction! She even packed us a wee bag of snacks for the journey. A very very special place run by a very special lady. You’d be daft not to stay here :)) thank you for everything x

Very beautiful and peaceful place. The cottage is quite new and very spacious. It was spotless clean. We loved staying here and the little terrace was great to relax and watch the peacocks in the garden. Breakfast was authentic and really tasty. We were served dinner both nights we stayed and it was lovely. The owners were so welcoming and accommodating. Really nice people. They were doing everything they could to make our stay comfortable. Chathuri was always checking if we needed anything taking great care of us. Gayan is also a safari guide. He walked with us up to Pidurangala rock and brought us on a Safari tour in his Jeep. He also dropped us off to the bus when we left. All in all - would highly recommend staying there! Amazing place and amazing family.

Beautiful little house 5 minutes walk from the main road. Super friendly and helpful owners, delicious breakfast. We really enjoyed our time in peaceful and quiet Sigiri Enaya. And if you are a fan of peacocks, you’re lucky, there is a lot of them in the garden! 10/10

There's very little more I can say about enaya cottage that hasn't already been said in the reviews already, but suffice to say we had a wonderful two day stay here in Sigiriya. The property itself is very much hidden away after the main drag in Sigiriya, but that's only a good thing. The peace one experiences here is beyond compare, total relaxation. Our host was impeccable, a true gentlewoman who literally couldn't do enough for us. Both mornings we were up early (to scale Lion Rock and Pidurangaia) and for a hot air balloon trip out of Dambulla. Amazing Safari,They have their own jeep.Safari was so much fun and we saw many things.. In both instances, our host (I apologise for not recalling his name) was up before us, breakfast served on our patio. Nothing was too much trouble, and his smile only served to brighten our day. Big rooms, decent sized bathroom, and excellent breakfasts. What more does one need?

One of the best accommodations experience within my travel. Hosts are exceptional, easy to work with to arrange transportation within Sigiriya, and the pick up from the train station. Breakfast is beyond amazing. The cottage is spacious and super clean. The territory is quiet and safe. I will definitely choose to stay here again if I am back in Sigiriya.
