This is a great place to stay in Sigiriya. Amazing place, just has 4 rooms. Your meals are served in front of your room. The portions of the meal (Breakfast included) is huge. The food is delicious and to your requirement. The host is super friendly and provides guidance on visiting the rocks if required. They even arranged tuk tuk for us to visit Sigiriya rock to start our climb at 5am for sunrise. The rooms are cosy and the gardens are well maintained. I would definitely recommend staying here. Although we only stayed 2 days, some other guest had stayed much longer.

The host, Fernando, and his family were super friendly and helpful (even arranged for a last minute transport when we needed it to go to the train station). The room was spacious and comfortable, nice shower. Good breakfast.

Rooms were great - clean, comfortable, nice furnishings, spacious, spotless bathroom, seating outside on terrace. Rice n curry for dinner was delicious and great value. Bottles of water were available and reasonably priced. Included breakfast was good too. Location was close to main attractions whilst being off the main drag. There is a bus stop close by too.

Our room did not have a mosquito net (ask for one :) But nothing else was missing.

Location: The villa is in a quiet place, off the main road so you only hear voices of the forest, rarely any cars or motors. The rooms: there are 4 rooms, 2 with fan and 2 with a/c. They are simple but spacious, the bathroom is simple but there's hot running water and it's clean. The beds are comfy and big. Breakfast: JUST GREAT. Big Srilankan breakfast, everyday a little different, prepared and served with care and attention. I just wish there was more fresh fruit for breakfast :) Proximity to attractions: walking distance to the entrance to Lion's Rock (10-15 min) and 15 min to the city. For other attractions we recommend to take the bikes and explore the surrounding, such as Pidurangala Rock for sunset (but go earlier and explore the whole area. There are ancient Buddhist gompas all around worth visiting and seeing before climbing up the rock), the big Buddha statue from where you can get directly to the entrance to Lion's Rock and the moat. Hospitality: I cannot appreciate this enough. Both Fernando and Niroshan are great, kind and extremely helpful. Loved the place, we can only recommend it.

What didn’t we like! We loved it here; set in a jungle surrounding it was quiet and peaceful yet only 15 minutes walk into the village. The room was large with a double and single bed which were really comfortable. The aircon at 26 was perfect. The bathroom was huge and very clean; the shower had loads of hot water. Outside there were lounging chairs and the table and chairs for breakfast; breakfast was incredible and there was something added or different everyday. There is a shortcut through the woods to the main Road you can use during the day and it is walkable to the ticket office for Lion Rock. There are lots of restaurants in the village and more a little further on off the main road. But what really made this a great stay were the people; the family are just so lovely.

We had a lovely stay at Sigiri Jungle Villa. We had two rooms which were spacious, comfortable, clean, and well appointed with lights, outlets, and furniture. The beds were comfortable and the showers were hot. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch in the lovely garden. The place was a short walk to the main road, and we easily walked back from Sigiriya Rock and town several times. We are glad that we stayed away from the main road as it was so peaceful. Our host served wonderful breakfasts and dinners (dinner was extra $ and so worth it!). He personally drove our family to our next destination for a reasonable fee, and made sure we had everything we needed. When the AC stopped working, it was fixed within two hours due to his diligence. We recommend this spot for a comfortable stay in Sigiriya.

We absolutely loved staying at Sigiri Jungle Villa. Its location is fantastic - few minutes walking to Sigiria, local bus stand and the town centre as well. The cleanliness of the apartment was just outstanding, very very clean and nicely equipped. We got everything we needed. It is clear that the owner is taking great care of the area - even the walls were newly painted for the season. We also loved the jungle in front of the apartment! Absolutely stunning mornings and evenings we could spend on the terrace surrounded by nature. (Also there were no mosquitos). Rich breakfasts were the best we got so far in Sri Lanka. We could also order homemade dinners made by the owner and his family - excellent food with tea and fruits for a great price, not to mention that the owner also arranged convenient elephant Safari trip for us. I could go on and on with the positive comments. Thank you very much for everything and we hope to see you again!

Excellent Guest House located in very quiet surroundings close to the main street. Several restaurants nearby. COME and Taste (1 min walk). Wow Kitchen (3 min) and ISLAND Vibes (8min) for a meal or a drink in beautiful surroundings with music and board games. The room was very clean, spacious and had comfortable bedding. The bathroom was very recent, with a new toilet and shower. Hot water and good water pressure. Wifi works perfectly well. The family is extremely kind and attentive. The breakfast is very good and copious. Bikes were provided free of charge. The service and quality for the price is more than fair. We highly recommend this Guest House and would be delighted to return.

The house is amazing. rooms are big, clean, wi fi was working perfectly (the only one is Sri Lanka so far). The best part of the stay was the owner that is a very kind and lovely man. He made breakfast for us at 6am because we wanted to hike at sunrise. The breakfast was one of the best we had in Sri Lanka.

Amazing hospitality!! Owner helped us to organize trips and transportation, frequently asked if we needed something and we were offered delicious tea several times per day. The breakfast was delicious and so much that we were full for most of the day. They prepared breakfast differently every day, so we got to taste milk rice, roti with dal curry, hoppers, pancakes with coconut and there was always toast and eggs too. Great value for the price!! Rooms are simple, but clean and you have everything you need. There is a terrace infront of the rooms and you can relax there looking at the garden and listening to the jungle sounds. It is close to Sigiriya Rock and there are some restaurants near by. Owner speaks English very well, thus he can tell you a lot about the country, its culture and its people. That way you can really learn about the country you are visiting.
