We had an amazing stay at Mango garden, the family there were absolutely lovely and made sure we were as comfortable as possible. The home cooked meals (breakfast and dinner) was absolutely delicious and would highly recommend. Amazing value for money with beautiful hosts. Would recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area.

We didn’t had an ac so it was pretty hot in the night time but they also have one room with ac and the positive things preponderate.

We had a really good time here and Ruwan and his wife have been super friendly and helpful with everything. The Sri Lankan breakfast and dinner were amazing! The location was quiet and in nature what we really enjoyed, by motorbike it’s easy to come to the city or Ruwan can organize a transport. The room was simple but comfy. Would absolutely recommend!

Its near the jungle, so expect some animals to keep you company. But that is totally fine considering the price and the location.

Had an amazing time at this place! The owner has a taxi service too, so he took care of all transfers to and from sigiriya as well as between all the activities we did when staying there. It was super convenient and he is a very nice person. We had dinner there every night and enjoyed it very much.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The room was big and very clean. It is in the middle of the jungle so its very green. We ate breakfast and dinner there every day and it was always absolutely amazing. But the highlight was the family. They were so friendly and always smiling. They took so much care of us and speak very good english. The Owner drove us several times for a good price. He is a save driver and his car was always very clean. We can absolutely recommend this place!

Be prepared for wildlife in the room. Gekons, spiders and mosquitos will greet you :D You sleep in the jungle after all. Only bad thing was pretty short bed. Im 190 cm tall.

Location is absolutely stunning. The sound of the jungle is so relaxing. Breakfast atmosphere cant be described.

The Lion Rock and the sunrise hike on the Pidurangala were definitely among the highlights of our tour. The host family was very nice and the food (breakfast and dinner) was good. You could also easily organize day trips and connecting transport through the hotel.

This was simply wonderful. Oasis in the jungle. We stayed 3 nights, so had time to enjoy the jungle, birds, squirrels. Wonderful host family, who made us feel at home…. We also had dinner twice, home cooked, very nice. Got traditional food for breakfast which was special. And the bed is very comfy.

The warm welcome and service given by Ruwan and Vatsala. A lively young family. If you are looking for a Homestay option nestled in verdant green all around you, away but not far from the center of Sigiriya then this is a place for you! There are individual rooms with attached bathrooms. The Srilankan Meals were delicious. The Room clean and quiet.

This homestay is located near a jungle.The environment was calm and serene. They served us with the best Sri Lankan food we had in our entire trip. Ruwan personally picked me up from the railway station, and upon reaching the property, I was greeted with a delectable dinner. The following morning, we embarked on an early adventure to Pithurlanga Rock to witness the breathtaking sunrise – an experience that ranks among the best sunrises I've ever seen. Subsequently, Ruwan guided me to the renowned Sigiriya Lion Rock. The morning's exertions were perfectly rejuvenated with an authentic Sri Lankan breakfast prepared by his wife. Our journey continued as we explored the Damulla Cave Temple in his comfortable car, creating lasting memories before bidding farewell later in the day. Ruwan's humility, coupled with the warmth of his lovely family, transformed this homestay into an exceptional haven for anyone exploring the central province of Sri Lanka. i loved everything about this place. Ruwan and his family took such great care of me, that I felt like I was part of the family. The food they cook is also traditional Sri Lankan food and it was amazing! They can arrange everything for you from tours to transportation. You are also in the middle of nature, so it is relaxing and beautiful! I will definitely stay there again when I go back to Sri Lanka.
