The location of the hotel is amazing, embraced by nature and peace! The breakfast is amazing, Sri Lanka hopper, rotti, fresh fruit, and Sri Lanka coffee (that was my first time trying, then I purchased some as souvenirs). The staff and hosts of this hotel are very responsible! Amazing memory of my SL trip!

Beautiful place, clean rooms and bathroom. A wonderful garden where you can enjoy during the day, in the untouched nature itself. The breakfast was also very good, and what left the best impression on us was the helpfulness and kindness of the staff.

There was little not to like exceptional accommodation, v friendly and helpful staff all at a v reasonable price made for a v comfortable and enjoyable stay we were v reluctant to move onto our next destination

The location was perfect as both Sigiriya and Pidurangala rocks were within easy reach and the Dambulla Caves could be comfortably accessed via tuk tuk. Our room was of a v high standard , the bed was comfortable and there was plenty of hot water . The breakfasts were tasty , varied and plentiful , the evening meals were equally tasty and v reasonably priced though the selection was more limited . The staff were exceptional and really put themselves out to ensure our stay was an enjoyable and memorable one.

We only spent one night but we appreciate it and we highly recommend this accommodation. Clean, quiet, beautiful outside, comfortable bed. Breakfast is the best we have had during our two weeks in Sri Lanka. Staff is also nice and kind. Location is good, close to the Lion Rock (walking distance).

This place is Sigiriya's hidden gem! With the best view of Sigiriya Rock, it's peaceful yet super close to everything. The real bonus? The owner and his family are incredibly welcoming, making you feel right at home. One night, we ended up singing and chatting with other guests, which was a blast. And breakfast with a view on the top floor? Absolutely breathtaking.

A kettle in the room seemed like the only thing lacking in the room to make the accommodation perfect. Also, keep in mind that the road to the villa is quite bumpy but that's not entirely the villa's fault because we observed this problem on the dirt roads around the area. Otherwise, everything was great.

A green oasis very near to the Sigiriya rock – it's a 10-minute walk away. The garden is very beautiful and you can enjoy it from the nice terrace and the restaurant area. The breakfast was good, and the host was very helpful and welcoming.

Staff is really helpful and super nice. Property is beautiful, rooms simple and clean, fully equipped. Location is super convenient to go to Lion's rock by foot. Maybe some encense to keep the mosquito away during dinner would be nice.

Everything was just perfect!

The location is just 10 mins walk from lioness rock. Breakfast was amazing. The staffs were very friendly. The ambiance was superb, it feels like you are staying inside the jungle. Highly recommended. Cheers!

We loved the garden oasis that is Sigiriya Ranasinghe Nature Villa. The staff felt like family by the end of our stay, they were so kindhearted, thoughtful and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and huge. The room was impeccably clean and the shower had lovely hot water. There was a clothes rack to dry clothes and seats out in the garden where we saw mongoose, birds and a civet one night! The location was great within walking distance/quick tuk tuk at night to town and both rocks. It really felt like a free safari in the backyard. The tours and transfers booked with them are also very reasonably priced. The wifi was also good (except when the weather was raining, then the connection didn’t work- not their fault). We would definitely stay again.

Sumptuous local breakfast with fresh fruits from the garden. Staff always at hand to help you. About 15 mins drive from Sigiriya rock entrance and about 30 mins drive to the eco nature park. The staff will arrange for jeep to pick you from the hotel. Big clean rooms with clean bathrooms.

From the moment we arrived at this charming family-run hotel in Sigiriya, we knew our experience would be special. Nestled just a stone's throw away from the majestic Lion's Rock, the location couldn't have been more perfect. The family that runs the hotel welcomed us with open arms, creating an atmosphere that was both warm and inviting. It felt less like a hotel and more like a home away from home. Their attention to detail and eagerness to ensure our comfort was truly commendable. The room was a delightful surprise – spotlessly clean ("super sauber" as they say in German) and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities, blending modern comforts with a rustic charm that resonated with the jungle surroundings. Breakfast each morning was a highlight. Not only was the spread delicious and hearty, but the family also went out of their way to fulfill any custom requests we had. The flavors were a delightful mix of local cuisine and familiar favorites, all made with fresh, locally-sourced ingredients. The premises itself was a slice of paradise. We felt immersed in the jungle, with the lush greenery and the tranquil sounds of nature enveloping us. It was the perfect backdrop for a peaceful and rejuvenating getaway. Our host deserves a special mention for their outstanding hospitality. They were always available to help with anything we needed, from local recommendations to just a friendly chat. Thank you!

Everything was excellent! The room was very clean and comfortable. Great value for money. Madu is a great host, he was super friendly and helpful. It was our first Sri Lankan breakfast on our trip and it did not disappoint! The dinner was also delicious. The location is perfect, it is just a 15 minute walk to Lion Rock. We would definitely recommend this place. Thank you Madu!

We were so happy we picked this lovely place to stay, it far exceeded our expectations and was the most welcoming and friendly place to stay. I felt like we were staying with family, the staff made us feel right out home. By far the best dhal and coconut sambal we have ever tasted and they were so happy and accommodating throughout the stay. The rooms are spotless and the staff clearly care so much about maintaining the beautiful place to stay - it felt like a jungle oasis. They also organised to drive us to our next destination for a very reasonable price and was such a pleasant drive. I would not bother looking to stay anywhere else in Sigiriya - this is the nicest place we stayed and so conveniently located too!
