Sky Edge homestay was a wonderful place to stay whilst in Kandy. It felt so homey, the room was very comfortable and clean, and the breakfast and dinner food was absolutely delicious. We stayed the night before and 2 nights after a trek in the Knuckle Mountains and it was so lovely to come back to the homestay afterwards. Mano was the perfect host, looking after us when we got sick and making sure we had everything we need. The property is up in the hills and 15 minute drive or so from Kandy but it’s easy to get a PickMe and nice to see suburban area of Kandy.

This homestay was wonderful. The host was very welcoming. The mountain view room is absolutely stunning, with amazing views from the balacony. The room is clean and new. 10/10 would definitely stay again. The food was also incredible, especially the daal, the best we've had in Sri Lanka. Thank you for such a delightful stay.

We had a wonderful stay at this guesthouse, where the hostess, despite her limited English, exudes a lovely energy and always greets us with a smile. We managed to understand each other perfectly. She took great care of us, hosting us warmly and preparing delicious meals. She even made us fresh juices and teas. The property is new and clean, albeit a bit uphill and far from the city and noise, which suited us perfectly. We rented a motorbike from her, which made getting around and exploring much easier. We highly recommend this place to everyone, as you will feel extremely comfortable and welcome here.

Everything was great!

We had amazing stay. The property is big and new, and the host is one of the kindest person we met on our trips. Dinners and breakfasts were superb, and she also helped us a lot when I got sick - booking appointments with a doctor and assisting with with the visit (she took me to the clinic and took hours of her day to do it!). She takes great care of her guests and anyone will be lucky to stay there. The property is a bit out of the city and uphill, but the views are rewarding. We enjoyed ourselves so much there. Thank you!!

I loved everything.

Room simple, but decorated to a high standard. I have also loved the shower room, and the nice balcony. I had high expectations about this place looking at the pic online and I would say that place not only matched expectations, but probably exceeded them. The host is super kind and she prepared a tasty and healthy breakfast.

Lovely guesthouse with an absolutely charming and helpful hostess. We were warmly welcomed and felt comfortable right away. The accommodation is a bit outside the city center (about 10-15 minutes by tuktuk), which we really liked because it's peacefully quiet, and the huge balcony offers a wonderful view of the city. We opted to have dinner outside, but there were options available on-site as well. The breakfast was good and plentiful. If you want a short stop in Kandy without staying right in the city, this is the perfect place.

This is a must go place. Had a very homy feeling because of the owner. She is too friendly. And room has amazing view at night. As it is rain heavily we didn't use A/C. It is like nuwaraeliya feeling. And morning tea is also another level. If it is your 1'st time visit, talk her before reach there. Because the google directed us a wrong way.

VERY CLEAN. This is the new homestay. Perfect cleanliness everywhere. Lovely room, nice smell of flowers inside. Avocado juice after a long trip was very helpful. And an amazing view! Lots of tv channels on the tv.

Just 13 min away from central Kandy city in a Tuk Tuk, this beautiful home welcomed me and my partner with so much love and attention, the room was perfect, neat and even had a fridge and a kettle, the bathroom was amazing, Manoji and Sarah are the best hosts, they made us feel at home, can’t wait to be here again!

Very nice and newly built place. Location is quite calm and relaxed. Homestay is spotless and comfortable no doubts. Rooms are very clean. Host lady was very welcoming and pleasant. She was very kind and always ready for help. She prepared breakfast for us and that was amazing. We loved her coconut sambol very much. We arrived here after long trip and after spent one day, we extend it for another day since the place was really amazing and relaxed.

It is very calm and quite place😇we experienced genuine room service👩.windows are directly infront of the bed and it gives brilliant view when we at the bed. It feels like it's in the sky(we stayed at the mountain view room😊)when we enter to the balcony we can experienced wonderful view with mountains⛰️⛰️🏞️. Balcony is very specious🤗. The room is quite small but cute and we had a nice time.Highly recommend for couples.👨‍❤‍💋‍👨

The entry pathway to the location is a little bit difficult to access, we didn't see a lot of parking space. So you may be better off renting a scooter or relying on trishaws to get around

The location was up on the hills, and the big windows and balcony facing West gave an exceptionally beautiful view of the sunset. The rooms were very bright, airy and comfortable, and the hostess lady was very pleasant and softspoken. We went there to celebrate my husband's birthday, and her family was sweet enough to help to find a scooter to get around and play along with creating a 'birthday pizza' with candles and all! The stringhoppers breakfast made by her was really good as well, and we'll definitely be coming back again for more!
