This place was the best one I stayed during my Sri Lankan trip. The host Yamada is the best host ever. He is very friendly and kind. The place is very safe, clean and in a very good location where you can find anything you need in close range. If I ever come back to Kandy this is the place I will definitely stay again thanks to Mr Yamada.

The rooms were spotless, and having power adapters available was a lifesaver. The free laundry service was a nice bonus. Yamma, the owner/manager, was incredibly kind and always available to help. Highly recommend this place!

It’s a bit out of centre but it was very affordable and easy to hop on bus or use tuk tuk 🛺

Yama's accommodation is the best in Kandy. I would come back anytime. He is very friendly and accommodating. I would definitely recommend him. You can do your laundry there for free and there is free tea. Thank you for everything.

The place could have been a bit cleaner.

Very bright (!) and spacious room. Shared kitchen/fridge and a washing machine with an extra laundry room you can use for free, which was a huge plus! Nice and helpful host - thanks Yama!

Lovely stay. Very well organized and equipped stay, with kitchen, washing machine, lounge area etc. The rooms were also lovely, clean and comfy. The host Yamada was very friendly and accommodating. Great value for money, would definitely stay again!

Second stay at Smile Hub Kandy and again it was excellent. The room was very clean, the bathroom was also very clean. Comfortable bed, good AC and having the opportunity to use shared kitchen and washing machine was very helpful for a 1-week stay. The host is very welcoming and ready to offer the best stay in Kandy. Very good location, close to supermarkets and to bus stations.

The WiFi was at times not very good

The room was very clean and had everything you needed. It has AC and a fan. Shower was good and body wash provided. There is a communal kitchen which has free tea and cooking facilities. You can also do laundry there for free! Location is good, about 10 min tuk tuk to train station and there is a grocery store just 2 min walk away. Not really any restaurants near by so you do need to get a tuk tuk into town which is no problem. Overall very good stay and would stay again, we actually came back for one night for a second time during our time in Sri Lanka.

Wi-Fi signal was weak or unstable in our room.

We had three refreshing days here, with cooler weather, in a nicely arranged hostel. Our room B had large windows with a view of the mountain, good storage wardrobe, and desk and chair. Bed was comfortable and we didn’t hear noise from other rooms. Common kitchen had fridge, stove, electric kettle, microwave and toaster as well as basic cookware and tableware. Dining table and couch for relaxing. Delighted to have a washing machine and ample clothes lines for drying. Easy to go to city center or botanic garden by flagging a bus passing by on the main road. Yama was a kind and helpful host. You can take the elevator to/from the ground floor by going through the dental clinic.

Quite, safe place to stay, we came here to face my wife's OET exam. Exam center ACBT is near by this place, 5 min working distance. If anyone looking for a place to stay when comes to kandy OET exam centre, highly recommending the Smile Hub Kandy. Host "Yamada" is nice friendly guy, if you are looking for good place to stay for reasonable price, this place is one of the best option.

A very nice accommodation in Kandy. Situated close to the main street, but at the same time without being too close to the traffic, Smile Hub is great in location terms. You can walk to the city center, or take the public buses. The room was very clean, also the bathroom. There was shampoo and shower gel in the bathroom, which was very nice. You can use a shared space to prepare tea or your own meals, you may use a shared washing machine. There is also AC, which is great during the hottest hours of the day. For sure that if we come back in Kandy, this place is the first choice!

It can get quite noisy in the morning, since the sounds from the outside and the corridor/kitchen can be heard all the time. The bathroom is small, so the entire floor can get wet pretty quickly.

Loved the well-equipped kitchen and the location. The view of the surrounding hills is quite spectacular, so that's a big bonus. The staff is extremely nice and friendly, and were always available to answer any questions and help us.

The room was spacious and had very nice views of Kandy. The washing machine which was free to use was a huge plus and it was nice having access to a kitchen. Location was also very good and to get into the city centre you could catch the bus for only 30 rupees!!
