Beautiful quiet boutique hotel, superbly run and where the customers are the whole point. Perfect spot before our trip home to UK. Then our flight was cancelled so the owner kindly offered us another night and gave us 25% off. I thought this was an amazing gesture. The room was turned around for us very quickly. The rooms themselves are kitted out well, modern and fresh. Our room was super large too. The owner was kind enough to drive me to the airport about 3 times to sort out flights due to Dubai flooding. These guys are real gems.

We had room 101 which is right next to the staff / kitchen facilities so we heard their door opening and closing from very early in the morning, which was disturbing.

What a lovely hotel - absolutely perfect place to stopover before our flight back home. Very comfortable and stunning room with an access to a pool. But the best part were the people. We were able to check in early, had a lift to and from a local restaurant and drop off to the airport. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

The swimming pool was full of flies and mosquitos (maybe right after a big rain) so we couldn’t really swim in it.

The hotel is beautifully crafted with lots of lush plants, timber detail and warm touches. The rooms are big and the bathroom is beautiful: the swimming pool is right outside the bedroom and was very refreshing. Breakfast was a mixture of vegetables, meat, fruit and great coffee. It is close to the airport and the pickup was well organised. The room had airconditioning. Overall we had a great stay for our first night in Sri Lanka.

The top floor is still a building site, and elsewhere there are missing light fittings, wires sticking out etc. This has clearly been the case for a few months now.

Nice hotel near the airport, beautiful pool that you can practically jump into from your room, nice staff, comfortable rooms. Set away from the main road so it was a very peaceful place to spend the final night of our trip.

Superb boutique hotel, brand new, beautifully designed, only 6 rooms, very spacious and comfortable-mattress and pillows superb, bathroom like from a spa, great water pressure. Terrace opening to the pool very beautiful. Quiet location, away from the main road and less than 10 min drive to the airport. Menu small but what we had was all of very good quality. Didn't have breakfast as had to leave 6:30 for the airport, although the chef offered to make me one if I wanted to. Complimentary Airport drop off at any time a great bonus. Amazing value for money, would definitely stay again.

The staff were amazing and went above and beyond for us! They organised transport from the airport and ensured we were settled. The dinner was lovely and the breakfast was incredible with both a continental and fruit platter included! The rooms are huge and the bed was so comfy - we slept so well after our long flights! The pool was fab and felt quiet and private even though it’s so close to the airport. We were so pleased with our stay and would recommend for anyone who needs to be close to the airport or has just arrived!

A very comfortable and clean hotel just a few minutes drive from Colombo airport. Staff very helpful and we got free shuttle service to the airport. NIce and tasty breakfast.

Restaurant was a bit cavernous and could do with making more inviting. Probably due to the hotel only been open a few months. Not a great menu choice but what I did have was simple but good.

We can't say enough about out stay at Spicepeek. A brand new property secluded from the noise off the main street, tucked in the quietness of a green eco-setting. "Boutique" true in every sense of the word. Comfortable, clean, classy rooms designed with a lot of panache. The pool runs alongside all the rooms and be accessed from each room balcony. Breakfast was wholesome and good. We met the owner of the property, a dashing yet unassuming young Sri Lankan gentleman with a vision and passion, who is actively involved in the running and monitoring of all the daily tasks alongside the workforce. Truly commendable. A must stay when you arrive or depart from Sri Lanka. Ideal for a small group celebrating a milestone or an event or even long stay.

There aren't many restaurants/things in walking distance.

Best bed we had in our month long trip in Sri Lanka! The rooms are gorgeous, and so is the pool. Great savoury breakfast and very friendly staff. We stayed two nights and were offered a free ride to Negombo beach the first day and a free airport shuttle the next. Even though close to the airport, it's quiet and we slept wonderfully.

We were flying out the next day and this was the perfect place to stay. Had a lovely pool and the room was huge. The bathroom is decorated very nicely and you can see that they have put effort into making little special touches to the rooms and hotel overall. Wonderful woodwork and plants everywhere. It was tucked away, so you could hear birdsong even though in the city. They even offer a complimentary drop off at the airport - which was very handy. We enjoyed our stay.
