no drinking water in room, room service was not good, many small ants were there.. No mosquito net as there were lots of mosquitoes. No toiletries. We booked for 3 nights no one came to clean the room. Biggest disappointment: No wifi in rooms.

Nearby to location, receptionist are nice and very helpful. They arranged scooty for us and for sigiriya a Tuktuk in better price. Location is near to tooth temple and for vegetarians balaji dosai is also near.

Dusty. Net curtains could do with a weekly refresh- To compensate for dust outside coming in. Property could do with redecorating but at moment understand people making ends meet so good option would be regular damp wiping to keep fresh

Within easy walking distance of Slightly Chilled roof top lounge bar. Excellent for food, view, cool breeze staff and atmosphere. So would stay at Vendol again as after a few cool drinks nice to come back and sleep. The bathroom was excellent, hot water tiled and clean. Little Gecko looked after us. Air con and TV worked so caught up on the international news. And fridge in room. Room smelt of camphor on arrival so think trying to keep bug free.. Unfortunately access road to Kandy infront so dusty location so didn't use balcony but bathroom good. Staff very helpful. We took a plug in hot water heater, mugs and instant 2 in one nescafe plus fresh buns for breakfast as no room facilities. Great for a freshen up, and overnight stay travelling through Kandy.

Another sad Sri Lankan hotel which is slowly failing - no basic investment. Lots of bits broken and not fixed eg. mirror removed only frame remains, cracked tiles, mould on ceiling of bathroom, No bottled water - bring your own Fridge - no Coffee & tea making - no Breakfast available - no. Also nowhere to buy breakfast. This is/was/should be an international standard small hotel but has no TLC from owners/investors. The staff do their best and clean and other duties but this is has become an emergency one-night only stop off. Sad.

Clean, hot water, tv working, ac working but only on 28degC, bed and mattress was fine, all lights worked, good off road parking.

I sugest to you please put the two towel for double room.that time we are two but we had only one towel

The accommodations lacked a drying rack for clothing, No kettle provided, and were limited to just one towel. Additionally, the hot water was not functioning properly, and there was no elevator, only stairs were available.

The staff members were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The location of the place was conveniently situated just a short 5 minute distance from Kandy town, allowing for easy access to various shops and malls.

Had to climb three floors by stairs. The AC was not very strong. The bathroom drain at the shower area was blocked and caused flooding the shower area. Hot water was not working properly.

The TV remote wasn't working Hot water wasn't properly working Windows drape was only half closing the bed was not double rather combined of 2 single beds, so in the middle there was a gap no water bottles provided The balcony didn't have a view

Additionally, I was disappointed to find that there were no tea packs or an electric kettle in my room. As a tea drinker, this was a bit of a letdown.

I recently stayed at the Vendol Maliga hotel and overall, I had a great experience. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the facilities were clean and well-maintained.
