Very clean and professional host, isiru was very friendly, lovely home made food, beers and water in the fridge. Nice air con. Few minutes walk to the beach. Lots of tuk tuks around if you want to explore surrounding beaches.

The owner Isuru couldn't be a better host. The accommodation is immaculate and the food is outstanding, the rice and curry (cooked by Isuru's mother) was delicious Sri Lankan home cooking. There were cold drinks waiting for us too. Isuru was always on hand and with great communication skills. He helped us with any queries, transport and a day trip out. Thank you so much, we hope to come again.

Wow, what a two week away we had! The pictures do not do the place (or surroundings!) justice; it is astonishingly beautiful. Very informative check-in instructions, absolutely spotlessly clean inside and out, incredibly comfortable beds and soft linen, the house is far bigger than the pictures suggest, very well equipped kitchen and the sensational view from every window..it was the best holiday we've ever been on. Thank you Isuru for having us, we would love to stay again!

Subhasha is a special place.I booked it as a treat for my wife's birthday and I'm so glad I did. Isuru is an excellent host, very responsive and flexible. The home was very clean, tidy and comfortable. I would highly recommend staying at Subhasha.

We were five friends staying with the host Isuru. On arrival we found cooled water and beers in the fridge. The accommodation is beautiful and facilities were excellent. He accommodated motorbikes and was very helpful. We would recommend Talalla and Subhasha summer cottage as a must do in Sri Lanka!

We have a wonderful vacation The house is in a beautiful area.Very green and very peaceful.absolutely quiet. There is a lot of things to see and to do arround. The house is spacius and clean.We had every thing what we need.The owner was very helpful.We are definitely recommend to stay here and I'm sure that we will come again.

Such warm and welcoming hosts! I stayed in a beautiful, cosy room with an amazing stone shower/bathroom. Felt like a home away from home with delicious food and I was very well looked after during my stay. I would highly recommend staying here (you will not be disappointed!)... I will certainly be back next time I'm in the area :)

We had great 3 days in Talalla,Staying at Subhasha cottage.The rooms were clean and modern.Bathroom was very clean.It was great seeing all the wildlife,as the visits from the monkeys.The beach is amazing.Very helpful hosts as well.We'll definitely book here again.

The cottage itself is situated very close to the beach and the main road. It is surrounded by a beautiful garden, and the cottage itself was very cozy and comfortable. We had a gracious host, who aided us in every matter and heeded our requests well. The bathroom facilities were really good, specially in the couple room. We got a couple room and two adjoined family rooms which were all spacious, and had a kitchen with necessary facilities. Air conditioning was good. We cooked in and got some meals from outside,so we cannot attest to the food in the cottage. They provide two refrigerators,which again were in really good working condition,, water bottles there are not complimentary. Only 200m walk to a serene,calm beach, not very suitable for bathing though.the tide was too high. Overall thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The shutters make the rooms a bit dark, but they can be opened up to the outdoors.

Had a great 2 night stay here. The property is very nice and only a 5 minute walk to the beach. The rooms are also comfortable, and meals are served in a nice little interior living space. It's all very cozy. The hosts are also kind & helpful, and they prepared some delicious meals for us. We would come back here if we ever return to peaceful little Talalla :)

A wonderful place to stay. Beautiful house and the host Isuru is very friendly and has created some excellent guest suites. Breakfast and dinner was just delicious too. It was nice to have the kitchen area. We 100% recommend this as a great place to stay!

A wonderful place to stay - we loved the heritage style house and the decor was beautiful. The best bathroom! Great hospitality and delicious breakfast and dinner - served with smiles. I can certainly recommend a stay here.

We had a great time staying here. What we didn't realize beforehand is that there are two rooms with large beds, so this is great for a family as well as solo travelers or couples. As others have said, having the kitchen was a nice plus. Overall, there was a lot of space and Isuru was a very kind and generous host. We especially liked how clean and newly done the bathroom was. The food provided everyday was great and he was always there to answer any questions and help us. Highly recommend!
