At first my family kept complaining as the house was in a small street and looked abandoned, after reaching the house host son which was under 15 welcomed us with fruit's and juice but still we had doubt for staying there. Kid explained all the places that are good to visit with pictures and approximate price and walking distance or tuktuk distancebut this is not all the room was the best room with best facilities and cleanest room in my travel time to Sri Lanka. (Even cleaner than some hotels in Dubai which i Live) More than 5 insect repellents were installed inside the room and outside. Room lightning were perfect (you might think I'm over saying but you should see) Hair dryer, Hair straighteners, Ironing, wardrobe and ..... Next day breakfast i can say it worth more than what we pay for the room.

This is possibly the best place that we stayed in Sri Lanka. The hosts are very nice and accommodating, and the breakfast is great. We were also given beach towels, so that was quite useful. The property is on a quiet area just off the main road, and a couple of minutes to the bus stop. The bathroom is also clean and big.

When we put a discount, we got the room for less money. A very complete room and a bathroom, a very delicious full breakfast, a very friendly staff, a very fast fiber internet facility is also available here, we wanted to stay another day but we couldn't, this is a place that can be recommended to anyone coming to Mirissa.

The location was good for walking to the beach, the harbour, restaurants etc. It's very close to the whale watching companies. The room was nice and very clean, bathroom great as well. There was an outside sitting area and a pretty garden. The owner, Suriya, obviously took great pride in keeping the place tidy, particularly after heavy rain. He helped us dry off our tuktuk and everything. Breakfast was wonderful and plentiful. Highly recommend.

It was quiet but close enough to everything The hosts were very nice and always doing the extra step to make us feel comfortable. When we were sick, the wife of the owner even went to get medication for us. Further: bed was super big and comfortable and everything was very clean. Breakfast changed everyday and was very good!

The family is so polite, courteous, attentive, discreet, hospitable and helpful. We and our little son felt very comfortable. The room is newly renovated, extremely clean and equipped with everything you need. The highlight is the two large, extremely comfortable beds and high quality blankets and pillows - we slept better than at home. :-) The bathroom was also top: a generous shower with hot water. The breakfast is amazing too and every day we were spoiled with a new delicacy: omlettes, rotis, fresh fruit, fresh fruit juices, spicy sandwiches, french toasts... We can fully recommend Suriya Guest!

We wish we could have stayed for longer!

This was our favourite stay in Sri Lanka! Suriya and his son were amazing hosts. We were given cold towels and a fresh passion fruit smoothie on arrival. The location is perfect - 5 mins walk to the beach, very close to restaurants and shops but on a nice, quiet street. The room was perfect. Exceptionally clean, water was provided in the room, fabulous shower, very comfortable bed. Suriya Guest also has a generator so the power cuts in Sri Lanka are no problem here, we had electricity throughout our stay. If you are coming to Mirissa, you will not regret staying here! The hosts were so lovely & helpful, they arranged whale watching & a driver to Udawalawe National Park for us at reasonable prices. The location was quiet & peaceful with a lovely atmosphere just far enough away from the hustle & bustle of the main road in Mirissa. Amazing & generous breakfast! STAY HERE! I really mean it. Out of all places we stayed at in SL, this was the absolute best place me and my brother stayed at. From the best beds to the best family. They've thought of most things you can think of to make your stay as pleasant as possible. I can't brag enough about how good our stay was here, we even extended our stay just to be here a little longer. Beds are the most comfortable we've experienced, same with the AC. You've got ironing board, hairdryer, fridge with small freezer, outlets for charging everywhere, you can lock in your things in most cupboards and closets, even the dimmers for lighting and the bathroom math outside the bathroom was a nice touch. And the family that runs the guest house are the kindest people ever, we got hurt in activities a couple of times and the hole family ran to get supplies to patch us up. We got served homemade juices everyday and they randomly just stopped by with Sri Lankan food for us to try. I really can't brag enough about our stay, if you are looking to enjoy mirissa and weligama, and be close to the beaches, but want to avoid being awake by their nightly beach party that goes on until 4-5 in the morning, then this is the place to be.
