Host Judith was very welcoming, breakfast on the first day sitting on the terrace was amazing. Like we had the place to ourselves, small but very clean pool. Easy walk to local restaurants and the beach. Could have stayed longer.

This could perhaps be one of my favorite stays in Sri Lanka. The staff and owners are extremely helpful and professional, on my last day they arranged dinner, a taxi to the airport and my laundry! The room i stayed in was spotlessly clean, the Aircon was working perfectly and the shower was the best one I've had. Not to mention the beds who were super comfy and with mosquito nets! Besides that, the pool was great and the homemade dinner by Judith was delicious! Really nothing bad to say at all. If I'd ever come back to Sri Lanka ill definitely stay a few days here again !!

The rooms are clean and got ample space. Had breakfast in the morning. Selection of fruits, English breakfast, traditional Sri Lankan breakfast and essential morning brewed coffee. In room dining available with a menu, with variety of dishes. Again food is exceptional.

This was a lovely spot to start our holiday. We were made to feel welcome and were so well looked after. The airport pick-up was great and Judith arranged a drop off for us at Colombo Fort Station. The beach was only a 5 minute walk away and it was an easy tuk tuk ride into the centre. We really enjoyed our stay. The pool was great!!

Staff were really helpful and accommodating. Room was big and clean. No bugs / mosquitoes or dampness which we've seen in other places in Sri Lanka. A/C worked really well and there is a nice small pool at the front that guests can use.

I asked for a tuk tuk to go to the airport. Without asking, the host added a charge for him to take me to the airport in his car.

The bed was a double matress not a single matress. That made a gap in the bed, but no big problem

You should know that in Sri Lanka and also in this Property you will not find a mini bar menu. All the drinks will be charged extra and the price is nowhere written.

We had a good big room, it was clean, the owners are nice people, i can recomend it. The property is in quite but not very beautiful area.

Everything was perfect

Excellent place to stay in Negombo, especially when en route to and from airport at beginning or end of stay. Great location very close to beach, restaurants, transport to centre etc. Beautiful clean and cool rooms, plus a lovely pool to cool off in. Judith and Sam provide excellent service; Judith is a great cook if you choose to eat in their pretty garden by the pool, and Sam is a knowledgeable guide with lots of stories. They also provide a taxi service to and from the airport. We loved staying here for our last two nights in Sri Lanka and would definitely stay here again on our next visit.

Wonderful owners who make you feel like your at home. Spacious rooms with excellent aircon. Superking four poster bed. Television with English channels, fridge and a little balcony to relax on. Wet room shower which was very nice. Breakfast was extremely good and plentiful. What I must add is Judith the owner and her husband are renowned for their food, we ate off the evening menu on two occasions and I can assure you, you won’t be disappointed, it was by far the best food we had eaten in negombo and we love our food. Having a swimming pool is an added bonus especially with such hot weather. When I have finished my trip around Sri Lanka I will stop here before flying on to my next destination

We really enjoyed our stay at the Suriya Arana. The room was very nice and perfect for a family of 4. The beds were really comfortable and the bathroom was very clean. It was in a great location to explore Negombo and it is not far from the airport (25min in an Uber). The owners and staff were very friendly. The breakfast was amazing. Loved it!

Wifi was out, but they were working on it. Otherwise, a great place to stay coming and going from the airport.

They picked me up from the airport very late—so friendly and kind. Really cool house with layers of levels. Beautiful outdoor seating area and pool. They custom make a nice breakfast with toast, eggs, fruit, coffee, etc. Location is in a quiet area, set back from the main road with heaps of cafes and a small grocery store. I went running and it felt very safe, so much within walking distance, including the beach.

I had a lovely stay at Suriya Arana. It was clean and quaint. The owners were very nice, helpful, and the service was great. The whole atmosphere at the hotel is serene & beautiful. I especially liked their airport pick up and drop off service. My visit was relaxing and very enjoyable.

I should have booked for more days!

The stay was absolutely amazing. Judith was so accommodating and her staff were all so attentive and kind. The property was tranquil and serene, it was a perfect place to begin and end my trip. The room was quiet and had A/C, mini fridge, great shower with hot water, big bathroom, big cozy bed with mosquito net and a window opening to the garden. The food was fresh and delicious, it was so nice to have everything I needed at the hotel. I’ll definitely be returning!
