This accommodation was very pleasant for us. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the entire guesthouse is clean. We enjoyed the refreshment in the pool to the maximum. The always smiling owners took very good care of us and tried to fulfill all our requests. The kitchen is really great!! Varied breakfast and a large selection from the menu. We have been traveling around Asia for a long time, but here we ate one of the best grilled fish. You have to try this here!! In fact, everything we tasted was great. The pension is very quiet, with a view of the ocean. A short walk over a small hill with a wonderful view will take you to the beach. There is a shop, a bistro, a bakery, an ATM nearby, just everything you need. When we had the chance, we extended our stay here and had a wonderful relaxing time here. Many thanks to the owners and staff for this. It isn't what to say We will not forget the pleasant time and would like to return. P&M.

A family-friendly hotel with spacious clean rooms, awesome sea views, and a lovely pool. Talalla Beach can be accessed within 5 to 10 minutes via a road and a steep path. The beach is very clean and quiet with some lovely restaurants which you can either walk along the beach to (1km takes 35mins) or walk down to the road from the hotel (3mins) and catch a tuk tuk (10mins drive). The food at the hotel is very good and freshly cooked. The only downside is that it can take 90 mins to prepare your meal. If you are aware of that, then you can order well in advance. The aircon and fans work well, and hot water is available for showering. Good value for money.

It was the best accomodation we had in Sri Lanka! Manchu and Anne made sure we had everything and were always very kind and smiling! Food was always very delicious, rooms are super clean and bigger than usual, and the sunset viewpoint is a bonus! 😊 Highly recommend location!

Most rooms are up a hill. This was not a problem for me but might be hard for some. Make sure to ask for a room in the main facility if this is an issue for you.

Talalla is a quiet place and this was the perfect location to rest and relax. The beach is nearby and can be reached by walking on a trail and down some steps. The pool was so enjoyable and the room was well equipped. Add the yummy meals they have and you have a perfect venue for a great time. The owners are helpful and very attentive.

We loved our stay at Talalla Leisure. Stunning location, cool room. The hosts were extremely welcoming. The food was lovely and plentiful. We enjoyed the pool and the cold beer. We would definitely stay again.

No WiFi in our section of hotel but we bought a data card. Would have liked a bathmat in the bathroom. Listing should mention that restaurants are not close by but that all meals can be had at the hotel. More shelves in bathroom to put toiletries.

A hidden gem. Location to restaurants is limited unless you use a Tuk Tuk. However this means you have peace and quiet. The food at the hotel is very good. A beautiful beach walk, around 20 mins, takes you to Talalla beach with a great restaurant Funny Banana and beach beds, shower toilet. Also a clothing stall to buy lovely garments or have something custom made. The hotel pool is also lovely to relax at with sunbeds & shaded areas. Pool towels are provided. We stayed in the 3 storey high rise but there are 4 rooms in the main building. Excellent breakfast. Lovely, helpful staff.

The pool is very nice and clean. The restaurant is very good, a good variety of food. Amazing view of the sea. The staff are very friendly and helpful and make you feel very welcome. The beach is less than 5 mins away it is beautiful and not busy, there are bars/restaurants at the very end of the beach.

We highly recommend Talalla Leisure. Great location with exceptionally helpful staff. Anne and Manju made sure our group was well taken care of. The property is very well maintained and clean. Talalla beach is a very large and beautiful beach with very few people, and amazing views and warm water. It can be reached after a short walk through the property. There is a large variety of options on the menu with traditional Sri Lankan food and more.

Only negative that I could come up with is that this is outside of town (but I also see a positive). If you want to get to town you can walk along the main road or take a shortcut behind the property (which also has great views of the beach).

Was greeted warmly by the staff when we arrived and even had coconuts to enjoy which was wonderful - especially after roughing it the 2 days before in Yala. The room itself was lovely, clean and had a great view of the ocean. The shower was wonderful (and not just because I hadn't showered on safari). Ate dinner at the restaurant and the food was very good and reasonably priced. Had to leave early to catch a train and the team was so helpful for us - coordinating a tuk tuk at 5am and even packing breakfast for us to enjoy on the train (and it was wonderful).

The hotel itself is wonderful, but the city of Talalla is very small, for any entertainment you need to go to neighboring cities.

I would like to note the friendliness of the staff and willingness to help. Breakfast is different every day, very tasty and beautiful, every day we were served fruit from their garden! They also have a restaurant, the food is fast, the portions are huge, there is a lot of seafood. With our own eyes near the hotel we saw monkeys, peacocks, lizards and it’s wonderful! In general, we were pleasantly surprised by the service, I highly recommend this hotel to families with children or quiet groups!

New and clean property close to idyllic Talalla beach (albeit a little trek down the rocky outcrop - there are steps) in a peaceful location. Staff were excellent. Absolute value for money.
