I loved absolutely everything about the Terra Resort. The staff were super nice, the room was clean, big and beautifully decorated. Loved the food at the resort’s restaurant! And all the other facilities such as the pool and the practice space were big and comfortable. I recommend to join the parties hosted at the resort on Saturdays!! Super good vibes and good people. Would definitely visit again!!!

I didn't like that i should leave Terra :)

I enjoyed lots of things during my stay. Perfect location in a calm place, but close to the beach and surf spot. The rooms are big and very comfortable. The staff of the resort amazed me by their hospitality and welcoming behavior. By the way the food at the restaurant is also really good.

BUT it’s really noisy, the bar, the restaurant & the rooms are all in the same space & there is loud music all day & evening. My room was exactly in front of the bar, so you have no intimacy and need to live with your curtain closed all day long. If you’re noise sensitive, and love privacy, it’s definitely not a place for you! By the way the owner was nice & understanding to accept my cancellation after on night there.

We stayed in the room closest to the restaurant area and the music was a bit noisy.

Really impressive aesthetically, hotel is designed and built to a very high standard, both the rooms and the lobby/pool area. Located a short walk from beaches but away from the noise. Beds were very comfortable, huge bathroom with great facilities. We stayed during the opening of the dinner kitchen and the food was exceptional.

We are a family - a couple of parents and four children. We were able to book through Booking only one room. Near the arrival we contacted the hotel and they helped us and gave us another room. The rooms are spacious and pleasant, the bathroom is large and bright. The hotel has a pool and the children enjoyed swimming in it. In addition, the hotel restaurant offers delicious and unique dishes, but above all the management team and employees are exceptionally kind and welcoming. The location of the hotel is excellent, we enjoyed being close to the sea (on foot) and close to various restaurants.

although we understand its a new hotel and they are still in the learning process, some improvements on the service should be done. we did not felt always like guests. - room was cleaned in the evening, after asking twice for cleaning. this is absolutely a NoGo. - room change was complicated (2 hours waiting, they werent able to mention a specific time, even at the evning before) and the reception wanted 25$ more for the extra night, even though it was the same room at another floor and not via booking. But they gave it at the end for the same price as booking. - prices are high for sri lanka, absolutely okay, but the service quality should be high too (e.g. cleaning tables in front of the room, if two guests arrive, a second chair should be added automatically in front of the room). You shouldnt ask too much as a guest.

Everything was perfect! The resort is new, the decoration is very modern and meets the relaxing young vibe. When we arrived they showed us to our room and offered a group dinner with the rest of the guests that was really delicious. The hotel is full of young people ready to share some hints with you as well as their experience. Definitely out favorite hotel in Sri Lanka and a must to stay in when you come down south.

You can occasionally hear the train passing by but honestly I loved that because it made the whole environment feel so much more authentic.

The style of the resort is beautiful and there is a big open space around the dining area. The rooms are super clean with a very comfortable bed. The food was amazing and it was so helpful to have surf boards there to use everyday :)

The best resort in south Sri Lanka!! It was a pleasure to stay in this resort, the facilities are amazing, and brand new. The staff are incredibly polite with very good English speaking. They made the check-in process very nice & smooth and helped recommend places to see and visit on the South Coast. My room was also very comfortable, considering most places I've stayed in Sri Lanka the bed tends to be a little harder, but the rooms in Terra Resort had the comfiest bed & pillows. The location is also a short 5ish min walk to the main beach of Kabalana which makes it really easy to get around. The reception also has tuktuk call services too, that come to pick you up from the resort if you want to get into town or go surfing. I highly recommend this place if it's your first time in Sri Lanka, Or if you looking for an earthy boutique-style place to stay, it made my journey to this country all the sweeter.
