Very nice hosts-the whole family. Excellent breakfast!The lady cooked us very delicious dinner as well.Johan gave us tips for the Sygiriya rock and organized a safari for us. Close to the bus station to and from Dambulla. Quiet and peaceful place. We highly recommend it.

The room was quite spacious. Breakfast was abundant, almost too much for a woman of my age. Actually I wasn't well physically due to fever, coughing. They took it serious and helped me with many ways such as extra bedding, tea etc. I asked them if they could prepare dinner (paid) to which they have willingly served me with delicious one. Yohan, his parents and brother are so kind that I recommend people to stay there if you plan to go to Sigiriya.

The family were excellent hosts and looked after me as if a family member. Had an altercation with monkey at Lion Rock, clawed my hand, hospital for injections and treatment. Away 4hrs host Rohan and tuk driver Nipun insisted on staying with me, so much appreciated.

The best accommodation in Sigiriya. I would like to come back to Sigiriya to stay here. The hosts were very helpful and gave us lots of information about sightseeing. The breakfast was very tasty and I was very impressed to have an authentic Sri Lankan breakfast for the first time. They even helped us solve the problem together on the morning when our tuk-tuk did not start well. I am so thankful to them!

The price of dinner surprised us: the most expensive of our stay in Sri Lanka yet. Doesn't need to be that high, despite the current economical situation of Sri Lanka.

Sweetest family we met. Very very beautiful homestay, probably the best around the village. Beautiful house and garden. Big room with space for 3. Big bathroom, hot water shower. Delicious Sri Lankan breakfast. Diner was the best we had in this country! They also helped arrange safari and a driver to Dambulla. Yohan, the son, communicates with you through WhatsApp which is very handy. He'll help you with literally anything! It's a short walk to the "center" where the best restaurant are located, at night it's a dark walk back. If you meet Yohan on that walk, he'll give you a lift back home :) Highly recommended!

Yohan the host and his family are very friendly, helpful and welcoming people. They made us feel at home. Location is great. The house is nested in lush jungle greenery, surrounded by lovely garden. The rooms are comfy, safe, quiet, and super clean. We also enjoyed a great breakfast and dinner every day. We had amazing stay despite the financial and economic crisis in Sri Lanka. We wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you so much for your care. We look forward to meeting you again!

A beautiful family run holiday Inn that is located very close to Sigiriya rock. Surrounded by beautiful trees and waking up to the birds singing each day was a pleasant experience. The family itself is very helpful and go the extra mile to help you. The breakfast was very delicious and we were served with different Sri Lankan delicacies during our stay that surely satisfied the foodie in us.

It's a very nice and friendly family. They give us a lot of help in planning the two days and he organised an elephant safari tour for ous, it was greatful! We can recommend to everyone! On top it was the best breakfast that we have eaten in Sri Lanka and very tasty smoothies! Everything was perfect!

We spent 2 lovely days in Thathsara Holiday Inn. Breakfast was really good and huge, owners were extremely nice to us and room was clean. Location is great, it’s 10-15 minutes walk to main entrance of Lion Rock. Next morning we went to Pidurangala rock for sunrise and owner helped us with aranging tuk tuk to Pidurangala Rock.

Good for three nights

Very friendly hosts, they made us feel at home here! The breakfasts are huge as well, and we had dinner once- we wish we had eaten there every night! It's soooo yummy, better than the local restaurants we tried and good price. They have two rooms they rent out that are accessed by the front porch. Rooms are simple, nice to take a warm shower, and the AC was really helpful! Location is great, it's about 10-15 minute walk to the main strip with restaurants/shops (although there's not much of a strip in the town, not a ton of options to eat/shop). The host can help arrange transportation and tours, it's a nice place to stay!

One of the best places I ever stayed at! Great food, amazing location and the owner are just the nicest family! Johann took great care of us and can arrange all sorts of tours if you want. My advice: Stay here and enjoy a lovely curry on the porch!

If a net will be added to the window in the bathroom, less insects will enter the bathroom after dark. Poor Wi-Fi.

This is a beautiful house in an natural-jungle environment, with a big yet cosy and quiet garden. We arrived to a perfectly clean, spacious room(only time this happened in Sri Lanka with low budget). Restaurants and site-seeing within walking distance, however if needed, Yohan the host will happily propose a ride anywhere, anytime. He was like a guardian angel to us: picked us after getting stuck in the jungle in the dark, arranged us a bike and some beer when desired, and helped planning every day of our staying. The family hosting are extremely nice, always smiling and making sure we were comfortable. They prepared delicious, copious breakfasts, changing every morning. In addition, they proposed about three times a day tea&coffee without charging for it. Complete welcoming ambiance.
