"The Bliss" is a place with a very silent environment. My wife and I stayed at this place for two days. Everyone here is very friendly. Also, "Jude" is the manager here, he is very supportive guy. The rooms & bathrooms here are very clean and have comfortable beds. This place was just what I didn't expect. However, I will choose to stay at this place again if I visit Kandy.

Due to past guests' behavior the fridge and the kitchen was "staff only" which is kind of a bummer if you're a solo backpacker and are staying at a hostel. Due to my own budget constraints and Sri Lanka having high food costs, it would have been a little easier for me. But Jude helps if asked. The location is a little far from the city center, which I personally enjoyed, but may not be for all.

The location and the vibe of the place was just great! The caretaker Jude was also a very helpful host. He texted the location beforehand and helped me get a Tuk at a slightly cheaper price than Pick me or Uber. I felt very safe and comfortable there. Initially I was planning to stay just a night, but I booked another night as my plans changed. The common space is also very homely. I also got to meet the owners and they were also sweet people. They also have a wonderful Green-house and a well maintained lawn and gardens. If you're into English breakfasts they also have that there in the property. Overall my stay was fantastic and I would definitely want to return there. Great option for travelers who want to disconnect and rest

We found a cocoroach in the room but it's something you can expect in every place with such weather conditions surrounded by nature or a garden. Moreover, the staff took immediate action on it and they were checking the room every time we were coming back.

The staff was very helpful and guided us throughout the city. They also found us an amazing driver to our next destination. Jude prepared us an amazing dinner and we had a very nice chat with him in the evening. It is very nice house with very nice spice garden with fruit trees. Very modern and new bathroom.

An air conditioner unit would have helped a lot to beat the hot summer heat. The kitchen was not fully available but the concern was understandable. The essential utensils were available for use (knives,plates, etc)

The private room was very spacious and very clean. Mr.Jude was really helpful. There was ample hot water and the bed was comfortable. The room had a private entrance as well. The neighborhood is quite safe and peaceful. The shop keepers nearby are polite and helpful.

The hosts are super helpful and treat you like family. They take so much care and the attention This is a beautiful and peaceful accommodation surrounded by lush gardens, the rooms are spectacular and comfortable. I recommended rent a bike becouse it’s far from city center as you can see in the location An absolute must if you are staying in Kandy, 100% recommended

Everything was more than perfect! Jude welcomed me super friendly and even showed me the whole garden which is beautifully green and very well maintained. He is an amazing host and did everything possible to made me and the other guests feel comfortable! Very special to be taken care of so well in a foreign country! The Bliss felt like home within a few minutes and I was super sad to leave after two nights. Jude even made delicious dinner and breakfast! Would love to come back and stay longer.

The owner is a very beautiful person and Jule is a great host. The facilities are beautiful and renovated, the beds are very comfortable and the food they serve there is delicious. I really liked staying at the Bliss hostel. It had very nice facilities and the garden was simply amazing. I got to know Jude (the caretaker) really well and we had a great time together. Motever, the food he prepares tastes amazing :)

The Bliss was truly blissful. The best part is that it's located 20 minutes away from the hustle bustle of the main city. The property is extremely beautiful and well-maintained. Chathura reaches out to you within minutes of your booking to understand your requirements to ensure that your stay is as comfortable as it gets. Both Chathura and Jude make sure that you are taken care of very well during your stay. They also helped me in arranging my day trips to Dambulla- Sigriya and Nuwara Eliya. Jude's vegan meal was absolutely fantastic. The Bliss is my home away from home in Sri Lanka. PS. The bed is extremely comfortable! There is hot running water 24x7.
