Very friendly staff. The front office staff provided us with prompt service. Specially F&B Team including F&B manager,supervisor gave us a nice service. Should thanks to kitchen(chefs) for the tasty food. They have very nice spread of food items and those are very tasty. Every employee of the hotel gave us good care. Really love this hotel and will visit again.

The air conditioning didn’t work properly because the space of the room is too big. They said that the room is sea view.But it wasn’t sea view.

The pool water circulation should improve, because the water was really warm. It would have also been great if there were easily accessible pool towels.

We really loved having easy access to the beach and being able to take a quick dip whenever we wanted. Being able to watch the sunrise and go for a morning swim /jog on the beach was a fabulous experience. The pool was also open until 8 pm, which was fabulous for a late-night dip. The food was scrumptious and the spread was really good. The staff was very attentive and the day we stayed was the Sri Lankan new year day, where the hotel staff had planned a host of activities and traditional food/games for us to devour. Loved everything!

We had a great stay at the Calm Resort… really comfortable rooms, we were upgraded to sea view room which was great! The beach was easily reachable from the room and so was the pool. We stayed with our elderly parents and young kids and the resort was suitable for all! The pool was big and great to swim in. The food was great, we had breakfast included which was a buffet of English breakfast and Sri Lankan food. Good choices. Lunch was Al A Carte and dinner was buffet which was slightly expensive, but expected in a resort of this size. The staff were exceptionally friendly and in hand to help as needed; proving once again nothing beats Sri Lankan hospitality! Special shout out to the Housekeeping staff, who added an extra bed for us and also cleaned the room out of hours as our kids put on the do not disturb sign on the whole day accidentally! The highlight of the whole trip for me was the beach and the sea! It was best that o have. Seen in Sri Lanka to swim in… relatively calm and easy to swim in.

Absolutely NOTHING.

The location of the resort was great. In comparison to similar establishments in the area, The Calm Resort offered a lot more, and without doubt this resort had the best beach in comparison to others. The breakfast buffet was great, had a lot of varieties, and the food was great. The staff were really friendly and were able to assist us. I can with no doubt recommend this resort to anyone, and definitely this is my go to place in Pasikuda.

1. Room service food was well below 4 star expectations. 2. Staff members were mostly awesome but one of them did graffiti in the secure parking on our car’s dusty windscreen with the singhalese equivalent of “F*CK*R”, despite heavy tipping on top of the 10% service charge throughout our 5 day stay. Little to no response to complaint at reception. Disappointed!

Awesome beach for swimming and wading up to 50 metres in at waist depth. Firm sand under foot. Beautifully kept garden and beach.

Room: Few areas of the room needed a bit of extra cleaning but was not much of an issue for us. We already informed the hotel staff and they said they will look in to it.

Room: Spacious room opening to the garden. Comfy and clean beds. Lovely seating area where the doors open to the garden and can have a decent view of the ocean too. Food: Our booking was on B&B but we had dinner on day one as we got late to arrive to the hotel. Decent collection of food for both breakfast and dinner. If they include a bit of local food that will be handy as well. Staff: Friendly staff all around. Always with a great smile and willing to help if needed.

As usual in Sri Lanka you will see some critters every where so it’s just a minor issue compared to what the resort has to offer. During our stay there were only 2 couples and our group. However, the dinner menu was still the same as peak time and I would suggest if the management can offer a discount for the set menu, they would attract more business. There was a massive price difference between the same food you can buy from a restaurant that was a couple of kms away compared to the resort. (LKR20000 to LKR 5600 including drinks for 10 ppl)

We went during off season and it was very quiet, peaceful, relaxing and loads of fun! Rooms were spacious, clean and the service from all the staff was exceptional! Although, breakfast wasn’t a buffet style given it was off peak, there was a lot of choice to cater for western and Sri Lankan style and it was so delicious!
